Overview
We transfer you from Moshi or Anywhere to to the village of Marangu. The hike starts at the Marangu Gate after signing in at the Park Office. The walk takes you through the rainforest to the Mandara Hut. A side trip to Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. In the rainforest, look for towering Eucalyptus trees, bird life, and Colobus monkeys. After lunch, hike back to park gate and drive back to Moshi or at your Hotel, we must ensure you enjoy.

0800 Hours: You will be picked from your hotel and drive to Marangu where the gate for Mt. Kilimanjaro National park is (1970 meters) 0900 Hours: At the gate you will meet with our well experienced guide who will give you brief information about the hike. You will walk for about 3-4 hours to the first hut (Mandara hut) and you will arrive there in the afternoon. 1300 Hours: Lunch will be served when you reach the hut. From the hut you have a great view over Moshi district. 1400 Hours: After your lunch your guide will give you a short walk to Maundi crater before walking down to Marangu gate. You will walk down to Marangu gate and this walk will take you about 2 hours walking slowly as you observe for anything that you might have missed on your way up. 1600 Hours: At Marangu National Park you will meet with transport from the hotel ready to take you back to the lodge. 1730 Hours to 1800 Hours: Return back to your hotel. All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
