Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), our friendly guide will welcome you and provide a briefing on your safari. If arriving late, you'll be transferred to your pre-arranged Nairobi hotel (at an extra cost). Otherwise, you’ll set off for Samburu National Reserve, a rugged and unique landscape teeming with wildlife. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive, where you'll spot rare species like the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and the gerenuk. Start your day with a morning game drive through the stunning reserve, exploring the diverse wildlife and the Ewaso Nyiro River, which serves as a lifeline to the animals in this semi-arid region. After lunch, unwind at the lodge or join an afternoon game drive to catch more action. Return to Samburu Shaba for another night of exceptional hospitality and comfort. Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, head to the world-renowned Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia. Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a safe haven for rescued chimpanzees, and enjoy a game drive in this conservancy, which is home to the Big Five and the last remaining Northern white rhinos.
