Now, they lead visitors through the forest and introduce them to their old home and the techniques they used to survive in it. The remarkable trail unveils the hidden historical secret of the Batwa people. It expresses the true cultural background of the Batwa who are the famous traditional owners of the hilly forested areas occupied by Mgahinga Forest in the district of Kisoro. Thereafter, return to the accommodation for lunch and take the afternoon (evening) relaxing at the Mutanda Lake Resort (most likely reflecting on your trip so far). It was my first time in Uganda and it was great. I traveled to many countries in Africa, but this was the best. First of all, Uganda is beautiful. Very green in environment and in January the wether is nice and warm. We visited the gorilla island wich was just amazing. After we went to see st.Elizabeth park where you can see all the wild animals you can imagine. The tour guide was very experienced and told us everything you want to know. We stayed in very comfortable places and the food was great, but don't forget your moscito spray. To me it was and unforgettable experience. It was very well organised and the even regard your prefeeences. It was one of these trips that you cherries a livetime. Lots of thanks to the Tata organisation, they did a very good job.
