The rest of your afternoon will be spent at leisure. You can book one of many activities with your guide. Enjoy a Boma dinner and drum show in the evening. Mid-range lodge located at Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 3
At mid-morning, transfer by road to Chobe National Park at about 10:30 am, located 100km west of Victoria Falls, home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Mid-range lodge located less than 1hr drive from Chobe NP (Botswana) Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 4
You will go on a game drive in Chobe National Park early in the morning. Tea and coffee are served before or during the game drive. After the game drive, from around 9:30 am to 10 am, you will have a full breakfast. It is the best time to see the big cats like lions, leopards and cheetahs. Later in the afternoon, you will embark on a sunset cruise on the Chobe River, which is located in the Chobe National Park. The trip starts at 3 pm. Watching the game from the boat’s one of the best experiences, as you get close to the animals. Mid-range lodge located less than 1hr drive from Chobe NP (Botswana) Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 5
Elephant Sands is a bush lodge and campsite in the northeastern part of Botswana, 250km from Chobe or Kasane. Enjoy viewing the elephants at a natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. Day 6
On day 6, we travel further into the Okavango Delta via Maun town and stay at Sedia hotel on the banks of the Thamalakane River. The next day, we will explore the Okavango Delta by boat and on foot. We will enjoy a mokoro (traditional canoe) cruise and guided game walks on land (water levels permitting). Day 8
Arrive at the Hakusembe River Lodge, which is located near the Okavango River. Here, you can opt for a boat cruise on the river during the afternoon, or simply relax and enjoy your tranquil surroundings. It's one of the accommodation treasures to discover - and frequent - when in the northern reaches of the country. It will soon be etched into itineraries, breaking the long haul from Windhoek and Etosha to the Zambezi Region and Vic Falls. Excitement builds up as you turn onto the entrance road, and relief washes over you as you reach Hakusembe River Lodge. You have arrived! Luxury lodge located outside Zambezi Region (Namibia) Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 9
On day 9, we travel to Etosha, Namibia's flagship national park, where we enjoy our first game drive in the park in our overland vehicle. Dominated by a giant salt pan, it is easy to spot wildlife that gathers around the few waterholes to drink. Some species you may spot in the park include lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, zebra and giraffe. Our lodge is located just outside the park entrance. This evening, you can sit on your private patio and listen to the sounds of the bush. The following day, we enjoy a full-day game drive in open 4x4 vehicles from our lodge. Mid-range lodge located just outside Etosha NP (Namibia) Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 11
After a leisurely morning, we head west through the incredible mountainous terrain of Damaraland. The views along the route are spectacular. Our lodge is located on top of a mountain with breathtaking views of the surrounding area and a pool carved out of the natural rock face. It's an amazing place to spend the night. The area is also home to one of the world's longest ziplines, which is a spectacular way to take in the surrounding Damaraland scenery! Mid-range lodge located inside Damaraland (Namibia) Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 12
Today, we head towards the coast. This part of Namibia is known for the huge numbers of flamingos that gather to feed, and you'll be able to get a good look at these beautiful birds. Arriving in the German colonial coastal town of Swakopmund mid-afternoon, there's free time for you to relax at the hotel or enjoy some of the optional activities available. You could head out to sea on a dolphin-watching cruise, or take to the skies over the Namib Desert (book and pay locally). We felt well advised by africa zim travel&tours even before booking. The whole tour went wonderfully. Times and agreements were honoured and our expectations of what we wanted to see were always met or exceeded. Mtho, our driver and sometimes guide, told us a lot about the countries, people and animals and had the patience to tell us the same thing sometimes four times if we didn't understand it or had already forgotten it. He always spread a good mood with his manner. He drove us safely over the sometimes bumpy and dusty roads. The selected hotels, rooms and meals were consistently good to luxurious. Overall, it was a varied and exciting trip and well worth the price.
