Surrounded by lush greenery and stunning mountain views, you’ll cross a spectacular 160-meter suspended bridge high above the forest canopy. The hike is enjoyable and manageable, even for beginners, making it perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Day 2
Early Morning at 5 AM, you'll leave your lodge with a packed lunch and make your way to the park’s offices for a briefing on the primates and the forest. You will then enter the tropical rain forest in search of the shy chimpanzees hiding in the tree branches. While on this walk, you may also see mangabeys, colobus, vervet, and red-tailed monkeys. After the trek, you will return to the Lodge for lunch and visit the tea plantation for photos. In the afternoon, you will leave Nyungwe National Park and go to the peaceful shores of Lake Kivu. There, you will relax at your lakeside accommodation. Mid-range hotel located in Kibuye (Lake Kivu) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
At 9.00 AM, you'll proceed to Napoleon Island by boat. The Island is one of the tallest in Kivu. The elevation from the water’s edge to the summit is just over 100 m, giving you a spectacular view of the surrounding lake, islands, and shoreline. The real name is Nyamunini Island, but as you approach the Island, you immediately see where it gets its name. The profile of the island closely resembles the historical hats that were popular in European army uniforms at the end of the 18th century, and Napoleon is commonly seen depicted in this kind of hat. Hence the name Napoleon Island. Some interesting bird species are often found on Napoleon Island, and the taller trees give refuge to palm nut vultures and fish eagles, which can often be seen. Other bird species, such as hammerkop and kingfishers, are common. The most well-known mammals on the Island are fruit bats. There is a colony of as many as 40,000 straw colored fruit bats living on the Island. You'll go back and transfer to Kigali. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Gama Travel and Tour Agency hosted my stay in Kigali during an academic collaboration, ensuring all my travel needs, city touring and even preparation for participation in the Kicukiro commemoration event on April 14th, during which they provided personalized accompaniment. As a social science professor and researcher, I cannot thank Gama Travel Tour and Agency enough for enabling both my professional and personal enrichment. This is in addition to the safety and enjoyment their services provide. Thanks to Gama, all phases of my stay and work went smoothly.

I traveled to Rwanda in April as part of a school project, and I was warmly welcomed right from the moment I arrived at the airport by the Gama Travel team. We truly loved our experience and completely fell in love with Rwanda. The people are kind and welcoming, and the country is a beautiful place to discover. During one of our days off, we had the opportunity to take a guided tour in Akagera National Park with our guide Samuel Bikorimana. He is an outstanding guide who ensured our safety and comfort throughout the entire day. The Gama Travel team arranged transportation from our hotel, which made everything smooth and easy. Once there, Samuel demonstrated great professionalism and genuine kindness. We felt very comfortable from the start and had an amazing safari experience with him. We were able to see giraffes, zebras, elephants, and more. He really made an effort to help us see as much as possible and shared a lot of knowledge about the park and its wildlife, which made the experience even more meaningful. Samuel’s passion, professionalism, and dedication made this safari truly unforgettable. A big thank you to the entire Gama Travel team for their excellent service and kindness. Our trip to Rwanda will stay with us forever.

The experience was truly unforgettable—rich in wildlife, beautifully organized, and guided by experts who made sure we had the best possible sightings. From the stunning landscapes to the incredible diversity of animals, it was a memorable adventure for our entire group. What stood out most was the agency’s strong commitment to hospitality, safety, and delivering an authentic Rwandan experience.
