Day 1
Arrival & Sunset Safari
After landing in Maun, you will take a scenic flight to the Kadizora Airstrip, during which you will be treated to beautiful aerial views of the lush landscapes and intricate waterways of the delta. After a warm welcome upon your arrival, the staff at Kadizora Camp will take you to your tent. Savour a light snack in the dining area of the camp, with first glimpses of the Okavango floodplains. Then, get some rest before departing on your first safari experience. You will depart on an afternoon game drive at 16h00 across the vast concession. As the sun sets, relish the dramatic backdrop of the African sunset while you sip on sundowners and savour some nibbles. After the drive, return to the camp for a gourmet dinner crafted by skilled chefs. Relax at the elevated bar or gather around the boma’s fire pit after dinner, sharing stories under the African sky. Day 2
Morning Safari & Afternoon Mokoro Ride
Start your day with an early morning drive and enjoy a bush breakfast en route. The best wildlife sightings occur during this prime time, on top of enjoying the pristine wilderness of the delta. Snack on fruit, hot and cold beverages, and a breakfast sandwich while driving, and stop for morning coffee. Back at the lodge, you can enjoy lunch and get ready for an afternoon mokoro excursion on the waterways. Once again, dinner will be served under the stars in the dining area. Day of Leisure & Sunset Safari
After breakfast, you are free to participate in any of the optional activities until lunch. Apart from the game drives or mokoro trips, you have an additional selection of activities to choose from. Consider booking a village tour, tiger fishing, or a helicopter safari to get the most out of your trip. Rise early for a last invigorating optional activity, or relax following a hearty breakfast. Then, it is time to check out and say goodbye before you are taken to the Kadizora Airstrip in preparation for your flight back to Maun. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
