Kick off your adventure! Your journey starts with a 7:00 AM pickup from your Windhoek accommodation, followed by a quick pre-departure meeting at Chameleon Headquarters. Heading north, you'll pause in Otjiwarongo for supplies and enjoy a light lunch on the move. As you enter the legendary Etosha National Park, get ready for an awe-inspiring game drive through its 22,000 square kilometres of wilderness, home to 114 mammal species, 350 bird species, and more! You'll arrive at your overnight camp—Halali or Okaukuejo Camp—before sunset, where you’ll settle into a comfortable twin-share room with an en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. After a delicious dinner at the camp restaurant, don’t miss the floodlit waterhole nearby, a hotspot for nighttime visits from elephants and the critically endangered black rhino! After a break at camp, you'll continue your adventure, exiting at Anderson Gate near sunset. You'll relax at your new base—Etosha Village, Etosha Safari Lodge, or Okatula Lodge—in a spacious twin-share room with a modern en-suite bathroom, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. You'll savor a fantastic dinner as you recount the day’s highlights! Accommodation: Twin share, en-suite bathroom Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. You'll meet colourful Himba, Herero, and Damara locals selling handmade crafts, and enjoy a picnic lunch beneath the majestic Brandberg Mountain (2,573m). As you reach the Skeleton Coast, you'll feel the wild energy of the Atlantic Ocean and stop for photos at the Zeila shipwreck. You'll arrive in Swakopmund, a quirky coastal town founded in 1892, and check into Hotel A La Mer, a centrally located gem with twin-share rooms featuring en-suite bathrooms. You'll explore on foot, admire German colonial architecture, and dine at one of the town’s top restaurants (guide recommendations included)! You'll learn about their unique feeding habits and migration to seasonal pans like Etosha. 5.0/5Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe

Martin took us through the reserve to locate the animals. He answered our questions and taught us so many things about the big 5
Dayo · Australia
We had a very good time at the Dumela Tented Camp. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The guides on the game drives were really good. We had luck and could see many different animals.

Really enjoyable and informative tour which also included an eye opening tour of the poorer parts of Soweto. Our guide Thomas was excellent , very knowledgable about a number of key historical events . A top quality tour and highly recommended .
