Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
You'll be picked up from your hotel and driven directly to Mikumi National Park. You will arrive in the afternoon and have lunch at the camp, followed by a short rest until 4:00 pm. Then, you'll have a game drive until late evening, where you'll return to your accommodation for dinner and rest for the next scheduled timetable. Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
You'll wake up early and leave for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, with a packed breakfast and lunch box. You will have a break in the bush for breakfast and lunch during the main time. You will have a game drive until evening time when you will drive back to your accommodation hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Transfer from Mikumi to Saadani National Park
You will be transferred from Mikumi National Park to Saadani National Park early morning, which typically involves a scenic drive through Tanzania's diverse landscapes. The journey covers approximately 200 kilometers and takes around 4-5 hours, depending on road conditions. Travelers can expect to see rural villages, lush greenery, and possibly glimpses of wildlife along the way. Upon arrival at Saadani, you'll encounter a unique blend of coastal and savannah ecosystems, where the Indian Ocean meets wildlife-rich habitats. This transition highlights Tanzania's varied natural beauty, setting the stage for an exciting safari experience at Saadani National Park.
