Transfer to Kruger Park - afternoon game drive
Meet your guide as arranged and transfer to Southern Kruger Park. Join the afternoon safari, travelling through bushveld areas and stopping at waterpoints. Your guide will discuss the animals, position the vehicle for clear visibility and allow plenty of time for photos. Towards sunset, drive a short distance to Kruger Gate Hotel overlooking the Sabie River. Check into this top-class hotel, look for animals from the viewing deck and settle into your deluxe room. After a refreshing drink, enjoy dinner in the fireside Lapa Restaurant and stay overnight. Day 2
Full-day safari in Big 5 areas of Southern Kruger Park
Depart from your hotel after a quick cup of tea or coffee. Your guide will plan 3 drives; early morning, mid-morning and afternoon. We expect you will find the Big 5 species (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) as well as general game and smaller creatures. After the first drive, stop at a convenient place where your guide will provide breakfast packs with hot beverages. Continue along routes near the Sabie River and look out for hippos, crocodiles and colourful birds. You can expect some great photo opportunities. Following a lunch break and a further drive, return to Kruger Gate Hotel. Relax on the viewing deck with an infinity pool and enjoy a traditional sundowner from the bar. Day 3
Delicious breakfast - Morning safari drive - Panorama Route highlights
Enjoy breakfast at the Kudyela Restaurant, which offers relaxing indoor or outdoor tables under the canopy of riverine trees. Depart from the hotel and enter Kruger Park for a final game drive. Your guide may be lucky to find the Big 5 - so have your cameras ready. Later, exit the park and travel to the Northern Drakensberg Mountains. The most dramatic viewpoint of the Blyde River Canyon is the Three Rondavels. You will also visit God's Window, Berlin or Lisbon Falls and possibly Bourke's Luck Potholes, depending on timing and weather conditions that affect visibility. Your guide will arrange a lunch stop at a suitable venue. Drive down Kowyns Pass to Hazyview and check into Hippo Hollow Country Estate. The hotel opens onto an expansive deck overlooking lush gardens and the Sabie River, where you can relax and watch hippos while enjoying a sundowner. Enjoy buffet-style dinner and overnight. Enjoy a relaxing breakfast on the hotel terrace, where you can sometimes catch a glimpse of passing elephants or hippos near the river. Then, depart from the hotel and begin your return transfer to KMIA airport near Nelspruit, Tambo Airport in Johannesburg or your hotel by arrangement. We loved the tour! We stayed in 3 different locations and we expected that we would be eating breakfast at the resorts but our guide Hoppy took us to other locations and we were able to pick what we wanted. Every place he took us to eat was fantastic! The tour on the park was also fantastic! We saw everything but the leopard (he was hiding). Loved it! And the places we stayed were beautiful!

Amazing experience with Hoppy
We had an amazing experience with Hoppy Hawell and Wildlife Safaris. The communication was great, the team was very responsive and even provided suggestions on where to stay near the airport for an easy transition. Our guide Hoppy picked us at the airport and then we started with the Panorama drive for great landscape views and spots. The lodges and camps they partner with were great for nice views and easy wildlife encounters. The tour was worth every penny to have everything coordinated by them. Hoppy was very nice and experienced in the Kruger park and knew every spot to find the animals. We got our Big 5 spotting and much more! He’s really knowledgeable and answered our million questions from trees, to birds to animals. Thank you Wildlife Safaris and Hoppy for making this an experience we will never forget.

Brian was excellent
My experience with Wildlife Safaris far exceeded expectations. We saw the big 5 - included 2 rhinos & 3 leopards - and countless other giraffe, hyena, zebra, baboons, a menagerie of unique birds and much more. Our guide Brian was fantastic - his ability to spot wildlife and identify the countless species was fantastic. He also kept us on schedule without us ever feeling rushed.
