Day 1
Arrival in Moremi & Afternoon Game Drive
Guests arrive at Maun Airport, where they are welcomed by their guide, Fred, before transferring into the Okavango Delta. Along the way, there are opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and a variety of birdlife across the floodplains and woodlands. Upon arrival, guests settle into spacious mid-range safari tents, each equipped with beds, a private veranda, and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink. This camp will serve as their home for the remainder of the tour, while the camp team takes care of all meals, tent servicing, and daily camp duties. After lunch and some time to relax, guests head out on an afternoon game drive through a mix of grasslands, mopane woodland, and seasonal wetlands, searching for the area's diverse wildlife. The day concludes with a sunset stop in the bush before returning to camp for dinner and an evening around the campfire. Day 2
Full Day Exploring Moremi
The day begins with an early morning game drive in Moremi Game Reserve, when the bush is cool and wildlife is most active. Guests explore deeper into the reserve, following signs of predators returning from night hunts and scanning the plains for elephant, buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest. Returning to camp, a relaxed brunch is served, followed by time to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. In the afternoon, guests join a guided walking safari in designated safe areas. Moving on foot offers a closer connection to the bush, revealing tracks in the sand, plant life, insects, and bird species often missed from a vehicle. As the sun sets, the day winds down back at camp, where guests gather around the campfire to share stories and reflect on the day’s experiences in the wilderness. Delta Wildlife & Scenic Safari Experience
Guests spend another full day exploring the rich landscapes of Moremi Game Reserve. Morning activities unfold in areas known for high wildlife concentrations, where sightings may include lions, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, and hippos, depending on seasonal movements. The drive also passes through river systems and floodplains that attract a wide variety of animals and birds. Following lunch and time to relax in camp, guests continue with a slower-paced afternoon safari experience. This takes the form of a scenic game drive through nearby concession areas, where wildlife becomes more active as the day cools. Departure
After a relaxed breakfast in camp, guests enjoy a slow morning surrounded by the sounds and atmosphere of the wilderness, taking time to reflect on their safari experience and soak in the final moments in the bush. When ready, the guide transfers guests by road to Maun Airport for their onward journey. The drive offers a final glimpse of the changing landscapes and wildlife along the way, marking a gentle and fitting close to the safari experience.
