Johannesburg to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve
Your adventure begins when you arrive at the lodge. Your transport from Johannesburg to the lodge can be arranged (shuttle, private transfer and flights) at an additional cost. After checking in and settling in for a while, you will have the option of taking an afternoon game drive in the reserve in an open safari vehicle with a knowledgeable guide. Day 2
Morning and Afternoon Open Vehicle Safari Drives
Before departing on your 3-hour morning game drive with the sun rising in the east, you will be served a selection of hot beverages and rusks. When you return to the lodge, you can have a late breakfast and then spend the rest of the day at the pool, in the library, or relaxing. Your afternoon open vehicle game drive with an expert guide will begin around 4:00 pm, and you will be back in time for another starlit dinner. You'll stay at Elephant Plains Game Lodge in luxury, and your package includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
