Day 1
You will be picked up from your hotel in Diani Beach and drive north via the iconic Likoni Ferry, enjoying scenic coastal views as you head inland to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest wildlife reserve. Enter through Bachuma Gate and enjoy a game drive en route to Voi Safari Lodge, with sightings of Tsavo’s famous red-dust elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and diverse birdlife. After lunch at the lodge, you'll relax and take in panoramic views from its elevated location overlooking the park and a busy wildlife watering hole. Later, you willl head out for an afternoon game drive along the Galana River and surrounding plains before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2
After an early breakfast, you'll depart Tsavo East with a morning game drive en route, crossing into the scenic and rugged landscapes of Tsavo West National Park. This park is famous for its volcanic hills, ancient lava flows, dramatic escarpments, and natural attractions such as Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters reveal hippos, crocodiles, and aquatic life. You'll arrive at Ngulia Safari Lodge for lunch and relaxation, enjoying its unique location on the edge of the Ndawe Escarpment with sweeping views over the wilderness below. In the afternoon, you'll set out for an extended game drive through Tsavo West’s habitats, from rolling hills and open savannah to riverine vegetation and rocky outcrops. You'll explore areas where elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelopes, and predators such as lions and leopards are often spotted. The varied terrain and changing light make this drive especially scenic, ending with a relaxing return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3
You'll start your day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo West, exploring its rolling hills, riverine forests, and rocky outcrops while spotting elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and predators in the soft morning light. After breakfast at Ngulia Safari Lodge, you'll begin the scenic drive south toward Kenya’s stunning coast. You'll arrive at Diani Beach in the afternoon and check in at Diani Sea Resort, set amid lush tropical gardens with direct access to pristine white sands. You'll spend the rest of the day at leisure—relax by the pool, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or take a peaceful beach stroll at sunset before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay. Day 4
You'll spend your final day at the tropical paradise of Diani Beach. After breakfast at Diani Sea Resort, you'll enjoy a morning of leisure with a variety of optional activities at your own cost—snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs, glass-bottom boat rides, dolphin tours, surfing, kite surfing, or stand-up paddleboarding. You can also relax on the white sands, take a beach stroll, enjoy a beachfront massage, or join a Swahili village tour to experience local culture, cuisine, and traditions. In the afternoon, you will check out and transfer to Ukunda Airstrip or your agreed departure point, concluding your unforgettable Kenyan safari and beach adventure. I visited Salt Lick in Taita Hills in January and then proceeded to Amboseli National Park. The views of Mt. Kilimanjaro from the hotel rooms were breathtaking. I also loved having a close-up view of the elephants. Roseline is quite informed, and she made our stay more enjoyable; we didn't need to look further for information.
