Day 1
Welcome to the Masai Mara National Reserve
Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Keekorok Airstrip in the Masai Mara, where you’ll be treated to stunning aerial views of the endless savannah below. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the luxurious Muthu Keekorok Lodge, where a warm welcome and a refreshing drink await. After settling in, you will enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the lodge while taking in panoramic views of the Mara plains. In the afternoon, you will embark on your first thrilling game drive in an open-top 4×4 vehicle, searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and if luck is on your side, lions and cheetahs, all against the backdrop of a golden African sunset. Day 2
Full-Day Safari in the Masai Mara National Reserve
Awake early to the sounds of the Mara as you set out on a sunrise game drive, the perfect time to witness predators in action and the plains come alive with wildlife. You will return to Muthu Keekorok Lodge for a hearty breakfast before venturing deeper into the reserve for a full day of exploration, where your expert guide will help you track lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and the vast herds of zebra and wildebeest that roam these iconic plains. Midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness or return to the lodge for a relaxing break. The afternoon game drive offers another chance to catch spectacular wildlife moments, while the setting sun paints the savannah in golden hues. You'll conclude your day back at the lodge with sundowners overlooking the rolling plains, followed by a delicious dinner and a night spent under the serene African sky. Day 3
Exploring the Heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve
You'll begin the day with an early morning game drive, when the Mara is at its most vibrant and wildlife is at its most active. You will track prides of lions lazing under acacia trees, watch cheetahs gracefully maneuver across the plains, and marvel at elephants roaming majestically through the golden grass. You will return to Muthu Keekorok Lodge for breakfast before setting out on another full day of safari adventures, exploring different areas of the reserve to maximize wildlife sightings. Midday can be spent enjoying a picnic lunch in the bush or relaxing at the lodge, soaking in the breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, you will venture back into the wilderness for another game drive, perhaps catching sight of hippos in the river or a lone giraffe silhouetted against the sunset. You will return to the lodge in the evening for sundowners on the terrace, followed by a gourmet dinner, reflecting on the day and enjoying your final night in the heart of the Masai Mara. Farewell to the Mara
On your final morning in the Masai Mara, you will enjoy an optional early game drive to catch one last glimpse of the park’s incredible wildlife bathed in the soft light of dawn. You will return to Muthu Keekorok Lodge for a leisurely breakfast, savoring the sights and sounds of the savannah one last time. After checking out, you will be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip for your scenic flight back to Nairobi, reflecting on the unforgettable encounters and breathtaking landscapes experienced over the past four days. You will arrive in Nairobi around midday, concluding your luxury fly-in safari with memories of the Mara’s majestic wildlife, the comfort of your lodge, and the thrill of Africa’s untamed beauty.
