Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, heading towards Lake Nakuru National Park. The scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley offers stunning views of escarpments and lush landscapes. Arriving at the Midland Hotel in Nakuru around midday, you will check in and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on an exciting game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Known for its flamingo-covered shores, the park is also home to rhinos, lions, buffaloes, and leopards. You'll drive through acacia woodlands and open grasslands as you spot diverse wildlife. As the sun sets, you will return to Midland Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Masai Mara, traversing the scenic landscape of the Rift Valley. You'll arrive at Basecamp Explorer in time for lunch, where you will check in and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is renowned for its vast savannahs teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five—lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. You will explore the park, tracking animals and capturing stunning photos of the breathtaking landscape. Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve
You'll wake up early for a full day of wildlife tracking in the Masai Mara. After breakfast, you will set out with a packed lunch for a day-long exploration of the reserve. You'll witness the thrilling drama of predator-prey interactions, herds of elephants moving across the plains, and possibly a cheetah sprinting after its prey. During the midday break, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic spot, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Mara. You'll spend the afternoon learning about Maasai traditions, participating in guided nature walks, and experiencing their way of life. Our trip to Hells Gates coutesy of Kriproto Safaris was marvelous. The tour guide ensured that all the requirements in terms of documents and suppliers were available even before the start of the journey. Not only did he ensure that we got on site early enough but also made sure we got to visit all the scenic places within reach though not part of the itinerary.
