Day 1
Nairobi – Lake Naivasha
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with brief stops for photography before arriving at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, you may choose to enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a guided walk at Crescent Island, where you can walk among grazing giraffes, zebras, and antelopes (these activities are optional and available at an extra cost). Later in the afternoon, you will proceed on a game drive around the lake and its surrounding areas, where you will have the opportunity to see thousands of flamingos coloring the shores pink, alongside hippos, waterbirds, buffaloes, and other wildlife that thrive in this freshwater ecosystem. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge in Naivasha. Day 2
Lake Naivasha – Lake Elementaita
After breakfast, you will check out and head north toward Lake Elementaita, a beautiful soda lake nestled on the floor of the Rift Valley and renowned for its birdlife and dramatic landscapes. Upon arrival, you will settle into your lodge and enjoy lunch while taking in panoramic views of the lake. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring Lake Elementaita, where you will enjoy a relaxed game drive and nature-viewing experience, spotting flamingos, pelicans, and other migratory birds, as well as plains game such as gazelles and warthogs. The tranquil environment and scenic beauty provide excellent opportunities for photography and relaxation before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Lake Elementaita – Masai Mara National Reserve
Following breakfast, you will depart for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, driving across changing landscapes and local settlements as you head toward Kenya’s premier wildlife destination. You will arrive in the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your camp or lodge, after which you will embark on an afternoon game drive within the reserve. This first encounter with the Mara introduces you to its vast savannahs, rolling hills, and abundant wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and big cats. As the sun sets over the plains, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Exploring Masai Mara National Reserve
This day is dedicated entirely to wildlife viewing in the Masai Mara, offering extensive game drives across different sections of the reserve. You will explore prime wildlife areas, including riverine zones where hippos and crocodiles are often seen, and open plains that host large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. With patience and expert guidance, you will have excellent chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, and leopards in their natural habitat. The diversity of landscapes and animals makes this day a highlight of the safari, ending with a relaxed evening back at your camp. After breakfast, you will visit a Maasai village, where you will gain meaningful insight into the rich culture, traditions, and daily life of the Maasai people. You will learn about their traditional homes, social structure, dances, and long-held customs, making this a deeply enriching cultural experience. This visit is fully paid for by our company as a token of appreciation. After the cultural interaction, you will begin your return journey to Nairobi, arriving later in the afternoon with unforgettable memories of Kenya’s lakes, wildlife, and heritage, followed by a drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or at your preferred location within Nairobi. We had an unforgettable safari experience in Kenya, visiting Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Our driver, Cina, is truly the absolute number one! With his 21 years of experience, you can immediately see that he knows every single corner of these parks. He took us to incredible places and gave us the chance to see lions early in the morning – twice we were the very first car in the park to spot them, before anyone else arrived. The lodges were very nice – not top luxury, but still comfortable and charming. The agency handled things fairly well overall, although we were asked to make part of the payment in cash: an initial deposit with bank transfer/credit card, and then quite a big amount we had to withdraw in cash for the balance. Apart from this, everything went smoothly. This safari was a fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I especially want to thank Cina, our driver – without him, it wouldn’t have been the same. Truly the best!
