Day 1
Manyeleti Game Reserve Arrival
The Manyeleti Game Reserve is reached by travelling east on the N4 freeway from Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo Airport Bus Terminal and passing through the Mpumalanga and Gauteng Highvelds. The departure time is 07:00. You will stop for refreshments along the route, and the drive could take six or seven hours. After arriving at the lodge, you should have enough time to rest and freshen up before leaving for your first afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle. You will head back to the resort around dusk, when dinner will be waiting for you. You spend the night in opulent accommodation at Mantobeni Tented Camp, which includes dinner. Early Morning Game Drive Adventures
Get up early, have a hot coffee, and eat some rusks before heading out on your morning game drives to view some nocturnal species still out hunting and to catch the dawn. You can relax for the remainder of the days after returning for late breakfasts at the resort. Your afternoon game drive starts around 16:00 and returns after twilight, just in time for dinner by the fire. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included in your package for your opulent lodging at Mantobeni Tented Camp. Final Game Drive Farewell
You will rise early on the last day of your stay, have a hot coffee and some rusks, and then head out for the last game drive. You witness another African dawn, then head back to the resort for breakfast before continuing to Johannesburg. You should arrive at the drop-off location at about 17:00. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
