Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
You'll depart from Nairobi in the morning and proceed to Amboseli National Park. The park is located at the foot of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which is Africa’s highest mountain. Arrive in time for lunch and check in. The afternoon game drive will allow you the opportunity to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant) among other African wildlife. The park also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and great bird watching. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Sentrim Amboseli. Day 2
Amboseli National Park to Lake Elementaita
After breakfast, you will have a half-day game drive. Amboseli National Park is dominated by the large herds of African elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and flamingoes at Lake Amboseli, which is slowly forming in the park. Predators such as the cat family are not a guarantee to be spotted in this park such as lions and cheetahs. And if you spot them, it will only be for a short while, then vanish for some time. All this with Mount Kilimanjaro snow caps in the background. You'll have lunch en route as you drive to Lake Elementaita for check-in and overnight stay at Sentrim Elementaita. Day 3
Lake Elementaita to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will proceed on a boat trip on the lake. This fascinating activity will present an opportunity to observe the variety of birdlife at the lake. The shores of the lake are hilly and green and form the perfect backdrop for a walking safari, also. During this walk of a few hours, you might run into hippos, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, waterbucks, and other animals. Sometimes it’s even possible to get quite close to, for example, the giraffes. Once you reach the top of a hill, you also get a beautiful view over the glistering lake. After lunch, you will leave Lake Elementaita for a drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Sentrim Mara. Adventure of the Masai Mara Home of Big Five
You'll spend the whole day in Masai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary, where you will have the best opportunity to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant). Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park. Otherwise, you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will visit the Maasai village. Here, you will have a chance to interact with the Maasai and get a glimpse into their culture, unique way of life, and see firsthand some of their customs and practices. Thereafter, you will say goodbye to the landscapes of Mara as you leave for Nairobi. You'll arrive in the afternoon, have lunch at the carnivore restaurant, then leave for drop-off at your hotel, or proceed on an included transfer to the airport for your flight home. We could not have asked for a better experience than what we had during our tour with Mimsoft Safaris. Wonderful lodges, excellent services, with wonderful meals onboard. Kenya 🇰🇪 is definitely one of those places, especially the savannah(Mara), the actual beauty of which you can not capture through your camera lens no matter what you do. It settles deep into your soul in ways you cannot imagine. You lose track of time, and you lose your connection with this artificial world. You only exist in the wild, alongside your oldest pals, and get a good whiff of how far humans have strayed away from what they were supposed to be. Kenya was fantastic, and it was nothing less than a wonderful surprise for all of us. The weather, the hospitality inside the resorts, and lodges were excellent.
