Day 1
Lake Manyara National Park
We pick you up from the hotel after breakfast at 8:00 am. Your safari guide will arrive at the hotel, and after meeting your driver, you will travel to Lake Manyara National Park. Around 10:00 am, you will already be on your first safari! The entire territory of this park is cut through by groundwater streams that provide a favourable environment for plants, birds (including pink flamingos) and African forest animals. Around lunchtime, you will visit the Maji Moto Hot Springs, and the driver will provide you with a lunchbox. After this stop, the safari will continue. In Lake Manyara, you have the option to add extra activities like a night game drive, canoeing, and a walking safari to experience the excitement of exploring the wild in Tanzania on foot (optional). Day 2
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will start the safari by being transferred to the central part of the Serengeti (also called Seronera). Here, your driver will try to find the animals you're most interested in. Closer to lunchtime, you will visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre, where you will be offered a lunchbox and provided with interesting information about the animal population and the history of the national park. Here, you can also see hyraxes, which are elephants' closest relatives. It is difficult to describe in detail all the animals of the Serengeti plains, for they number in the thousands; elephants, buffaloes, ostriches, giraffes, jackals, hyenas, lions, antelopes, leopards and cheetahs. Keep your eyes peeled and enjoy the nature around you. You have optional activities, one of which is the Olduvai Gorge tour of the cradle of mankind. Day 3
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the Serengeti with a picnic lunch. Later, return for dinner and overnight. An early morning balloon safari (optional) is available at an additional cost. If interested, please let us know in advance. Today, you will have another chance to spot all the big cats you may have missed, or you can add some more to your bucket list. After this astonishing day, you head to the lodge for rest and dinner. Day 4
Serengeti - Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, you will continue the game drive inside Serengeti National Park. The greater part of this park is a savannah with wide open spaces, which provides a likely opportunity to see cheetahs hunting antelopes. On this day, you also have the option to visit the Maasai people and Olduvai Gorge at an additional cost. The Olduvai Gorge is one of the most important archaeological sites on earth. The geological strata exposed in the gorge reveal a remarkable record of animal and human evolution from about 2 million until 15,000 years ago. By early afternoon, you will finish the safari and return to the hotel in Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There, you will have dinner and an overnight stay as you await another blissful day of adventure on the crater rim. Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
On this day, it is best to leave the hotel as early as possible to see the variety of animals that are only active during the morning hours. At 6:30 am, you will set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and after about an hour, you will already be inside the crater. Ngorongoro is one of the most famous and interesting of Tanzania's national parks because it has the greatest number of different animal species per square kilometer. You will have the chance to see buffalo, elephant, lion, wildebeest, zebra, hippopotamus and feline species such as caracals and servals. The lucky travelers might even see a rhinoceros, an animal whose numbers are rapidly declining. End the beautiful day by returning to the lodge for rest. Day 6
Tarangire National Park - Arusha
In Tarangire, you can see many wild Tanzanian animals, such as lions, buffalos, giraffes, and zebras, but above all else, it is famous for its astonishing number of elephants. They typically stay close to their drinking source, the Tarangire River. You should be aware that this is wild nature, so the guide cannot guarantee the presence of specific wild animals, but you can be sure he will do his best to find everything you're looking for! The team has its own radio channel that the drivers use to communicate with other guides and collaborate on searches for rare species. At lunchtime, you will be provided with a meal, after which the safari will continue. In the evening, you will be transferred to the hotel in Arusha or the airport for drop-off. We went on a week safari with Destiny Explorers in Tanzania back in August. This was the best experience we’ve ever had. The guide was super nice and explained to us a lot of things about the animals, their culture, etc. We went to some different national parks and were able to see the big five! The roads are long, but it’s worth every single km. About the accomodation, this company has a really good price compared to others and the hotels/lodges were fantastic every day. Clean, nice and the people there was really caring. You can’t miss sleeping in a camp inside the Serengeti!

ABOVE OUR EXPECTATIONS!
We went on a 4-day tour to: Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti, Ngongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. First of all, the communication beforehand with Destiny Explores went very good, they had a quick response time, were flexible in thinking along and anticipated quickly to give you a secure feeling. Secondly, the driver Hussain - he is a amazing person and he was our walking Tanzanian Google. His experience in the field is just tremendous he knew so much about the nature, animals, vegetation, tribes etc.. Therefore we learned so much about Tanzania due to his knowledge. One day another car in the mountains was having issues and Hussain was there to help them, this shows his character as a great human-being. May God bless him and his family. Amen. Furthermore, the lodges were we stayed: Foresight Eco and Tukaone Serengeti Camp were clean, good food, wifi and very very friendly people. Hence, I can highly recommend Destiny Explores they will give you a truly beautiful experience. No doubt!
