From here, spend 3 days/2 nights in the Serengeti and finally 1 day/1 night in Ngorongoro. Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel and a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its impressive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. You’ll enjoy a game drive in an open-roof vehicle, exploring seasonal swamps, savannah, and the Tarangire River, which is home to a diverse range of wildlife including giraffes, lions, zebras, leopards, and many bird species. Pause for a picnic lunch at a picturesque viewpoint before continuing your game drive. In the evening, you’ll arrive at your campsite inside the park for dinner and an overnight stay immersed in the wilderness. Tarangire Sunrise Game Drive & Local Community Visit
Start your day early with a sunrise game drive in Tarangire National Park. After breakfast, continue exploring the park before heading to Mto wa Mbu for lunch and a cultural experience. In the afternoon, you’ll visit local communities, explore banana farms, rice plantations, traditional artworks, forests, and nearby waterfalls. You can choose to discover the area on foot or by bicycle. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at Fig Tree Lodge. Journey to Serengeti & Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti, enjoying a scenic 4 to 5-hour drive filled with exciting game viewing along the bumpy road through the crater highlands to the expansive Serengeti plains. Stop for a picnic lunch near Naabi Hill Gate before entering the park for an afternoon game drive. Day 4
Full-Day Serengeti Game Drive and Wildlife Exploration
Today, you’ll spend the entire day immersed in the wonders of Serengeti National Park. Begin with an early morning game drive at sunrise, returning to camp for breakfast. After packing a lunch, embark on a full-day safari across the stunning Serengeti plains, in pursuit of the Big Five and other incredible wildlife. Serengeti offers more than just large mammals, over 500 bird species have been recorded here, from the towering ostrich and unique secretary bird of the open grasslands to the majestic black eagles soaring above the savannah. As you continue your wildlife search throughout the day, you’ll soak in the breathtaking landscapes before returning to camp at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 5
Early Morning Serengeti Game Drive & Transfer to Ngorongoro
We’ll start the day early, departing the campsite around 6:00 a.m. for a sunrise game drive when the animals are most active. Mid-morning, we’ll stop at a picnic site to enjoy breakfast in the bush. Afterward, the game drive continues before returning to camp around noon for a hot lunch. Once packed, we’ll depart the Serengeti and head to Ngorongoro, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night at Simba Campsite. Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater Exploration & Return to Arusha
At 6:00 a.m., we’ll board the safari vehicle and descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater with a packed breakfast. This remarkable conservation area, spanning approximately 260 square kilometres (100 square miles) and nearly 20 kilometres (12 miles) in diameter, is home to nearly every species of East African wildlife, including the rare black rhino, which we may be lucky enough to spot. You’ll have around 5 to 6 hours to explore the diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife. After the game drive, we’ll ascend from the crater and return to the campsite for your final meal with us. Then, we’ll drive back to Arusha, with an expected arrival time between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)
