Day 1
Transfer from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport to the colonial-styled Kings Camp. Kings Camp is located in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park. Timbavati was created in the 1950s by a group of conservation-minded landowners who came together to protect pristine wilderness areas from destructive farming. In 1993, Timbavati's importance as a wildlife haven was recognized, and the fences between it and the Kruger National Park were removed to encourage natural migration. As a result, Kings Camp was established as a premier eco-tourism destination in South Africa. Joof Alberts purchased and renovated the property in 1995. Timbavati is a small private reserve offering highly exclusive game-viewing safaris in the Greater Kruger National Park, with only nine thatched air-conditioned suites, reflecting the charm and romance of a Colonial past. Enjoy twice-daily game drives with highly professional and trained rangers and trackers. Luxury+ lodge located inside Timbavati NR (Greater Kruger) All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 4
Award-winning Leopard Hills is in the renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, bordering the world-famous Kruger National Park. The lodge is perfectly set on a rocky outcrop, offering magnificent views over the bush and an active waterhole on the plains below. The reserve comprises over 10 000 hectares of incredibly diverse ecosystems making Leopard Hills the ideal destination to view plentiful game in their natural habitat. Here the Big Five (elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo, and leopard) abound, and viewing them nearby is their specialty. Leopard Hills carefully plans your safari around the best game viewing opportunities. The more productive times are early morning before the day's heat and late afternoon as it cools down, ensuring the sight of animal movement. A walking safari is thrilling! When the animals have retreated to the shade, you, too, get to enjoy spa treatments, time to relax at the camp, a light lunch, and a cool-off in your private plunge pool. Luxury+ lodge located inside Leopard Hills GR (Sabi Sands) All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 7
Following an early morning game drive and then breakfast, prepare for your air transfer from Leopard Hills to Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport to resume your homeward-bound journey. Should it suit you to overnight at a boutique hotel in Johannesburg, depending on your international route, we can arrange that as an extra. If you're keen to extend your journey, you have the option to continue exploring with Greatest Africa, discovering additional destinations such as Victoria Falls, Cape Town, or the Garden Route. 5.0/5We had always wanted to experience South Africa and do "The Big 5" game park stay. We looked at booking locally from Australian companies but they all seemed so expencive and didntgive us the experience we wanted in a small personal tour without breaking the bank. During my searches of the internet i discovered Greatest Africa, a local SA company specialising in tailor made trips. Vanessa was amazing from start to finish, some 3 years ago i had my 3rd throat cancer surgery leaving me unable to eat any food via my mouth and all meals need to be pureed to a fine liquid somi can tube feed via a PEG. Vanessa was able to understand my needs and after knowing what type of high powered blender was needed she was able to book us into an amazin hotel in Capetown and 2 x 5 star game lodges with the correct blender to make all my meals. My wife said it was her best holiday ever, the game lodges were perfect, the food amazing and the total experience and game drives ons to remember forever. Thankyouever so much for our mazing holiday and for your personal and profestional service. Highly recomended to all, not just us "Tubies"

We have used Greatest Africa several times during our visits to South Africa. It's easy to communicate with them and always good suggestions and quick answers to our requests and questions. They have a very good software generating your itinerary with good tourist information. Each time we take a vine tour with Rickard. Then we have come to very nice wine tastings at the best vineyards. We have also visited some very interesting cultural places of interest. The hotels we have been booked at have been of the highest class and very varied. Central in Hermanus, where you could see the whales from the balcony. Nice vineyards, where you had very good wine and food. Far out in the wilderness, where the antelopes passed a few meters from the tables when we finished the dessert. Central in Cape Town, where it's very close to Waterfront. I can really recommend Greatest Africa for a nice vacation in South Africa.

Having spent my youth in South Africa, I returned with a group of friends for my 70th birthday. The 2-week stay in the Cape was terrific. Greatest Africa contributed significantly for a pleasant stay in the Stellenbosch Winelands, a 3-day game safari a 3 hours drive from Cape Town, all culminating with several days in CT itself : a unique city & setting with incredible diversity. Greatest Africa provided a very attentive & responsive service that resulted in a highly successful trip. They understood our needs & found solutions in all situations.
