Day 1
Your safari adventure begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the escarpment and make brief stops at viewpoints for photography. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch overlooking the shimmering lake. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through the park, renowned for its large populations of rhinos, both black and white, as well as lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species. The alkaline lake is also a paradise for bird lovers, attracting flamingos, pelicans, and over 400 bird species. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner while watching the changing colors over the lake. Dinner and overnight: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. Mid-range lodge located inside Lake Nakuru NP (Kenya) Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
After an early breakfast, depart for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through rolling hills, traditional Maasai villages, and open savannahs. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Mara, a region teeming with wildlife. The reserve is home to the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo — and is especially famous for the great wildebeest migration (July to October). Even outside migration season, the Mara offers some of the richest game viewing in Africa. Return to your lodge in the evening to enjoy a warm dinner and unwind around the campfire under a starlit sky. Dinner and overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge. Mid-range lodge located just outside Masai Mara NR (Kenya) Meals at own expense Drinks not included
Day 3
Spend the day exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara, where every corner reveals new wildlife encounters. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, with a chance to spot predators on the hunt or elephants grazing peacefully. For an unforgettable experience, you may choose an optional hot-air balloon safari at sunrise, offering spectacular aerial views of the reserve, followed by a champagne breakfast in the wild. Later, you can also visit a local Maasai village to learn about their traditional lifestyle, culture, and customs. After an adventurous day, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation. Dinner and overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge. Mid-range lodge located just outside Masai Mara NR (Kenya) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
Enjoy an early breakfast before departing toward the Isebania border, where you’ll go through customs and meet your Tanzanian guide. From there, continue into the legendary Serengeti National Park, known for its endless rolling plains and immense concentration of wildlife. As you drive into Central Serengeti, enjoy your first game drive en route to the lodge, with chances to spot lions lounging on rocks, cheetahs scanning the grasslands, or herds of wildebeest grazing. This region offers excellent year-round game viewing due to its resident wildlife population. Arrive at your lodge in time for dinner, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness. Dinner and overnight: Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. Luxury tented camp located inside Central Serengeti NP (Tanzania) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
Spend the day exploring the heart of the Serengeti, one of the greatest wildlife regions in the world. Morning and afternoon game drives offer a chance to witness big cats in action, vast herds of wildebeest and zebra, and an extraordinary variety of birds. The Central Serengeti (Seronera area) is particularly known for its resident predator populations — lions, leopards, and cheetahs can often be seen year-round. Between drives, relax at your lodge and soak in the incredible views of the plains. As evening falls, enjoy a sundowner followed by dinner under a canopy of stars. Luxury tented camp located inside Central Serengeti NP (Tanzania) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, when predators are most active. Witness the drama of the African bush as the sun rises over the plains. After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, driving through the picturesque landscapes of the highlands. In the afternoon, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations in the world. The crater floor is a natural sanctuary for more than 25,000 animals, including lions, elephants, zebras, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before driving to your lodge perched on the crater rim, offering stunning panoramic views. Mid-range lodge located 1-2hr drive from Ngorongoro Crater All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 7
After breakfast, drive to Arusha, arriving in time for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your beach resort to begin the relaxing island portion of your trip — a perfect end to your East African adventure. Relax on the white-sand beaches, swim in turquoise waters, or explore the historic streets of Stone Town. Your unforgettable safari and beach journey ends here — a blend of adventure, nature, and coastal bliss. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Rochar Africa gave us a perfect experience. During the preparation part, they were very flexible providing us different options and changes in order to get the best itinerary for us. During our travel in Africa, they were always taking good care of us. Our guides lider, John, was amazing, he is a very experienced and charismatic person. Simon the second guide also did a great job. Thanks Rochar África for this amazing vacation. Thanks also to James and Charles.

It was the reviews on this page that helped me to book a safari with Rochar Africa so it is my pleasure to write this. First and foremost, at the centre of it all was Phinorah who put together our Maasai Mara itinerary. She was amazing from start to finish. I was most impressed by her attention to detail and the fact that she worked around the clock to provide us with the best options to suit all our needs. She was kind, professional and, unassuming. What an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. Special thanks to Jonathon and Denton our safari guides too. 10/10 experience. Majestic in every way.

From our first communication with Phinorah to our final few moments with Jonathan, our guide/driver, our seven day safari was excellent. Our accommodations at the four locations where we stopped were exceptional. The game drives in each park provided many opportunities for seeing many animals of every kind.
