5.0/5It has been my dream to see gorillas in the wild since I was a child. Chris made this dream come true for my family and I. Everything went perfect for this trip including the airport pick up, transportation, the accommodation was top notch, and most importantly the gorillas, chimpanzees and other excursions we did! Chris is the most amazing and knowledgeable guide. He worked for years as an ecologist in the park system and is so knowledgeable. We travailed with my two teenage children and he always has their interests in mind. Chris handled all of our permits seamlessly and I think overall our trip was very good value for the cost and the high level of service and accommodation we experienced! We felt very safe the entire trip. You will be so happy if you take the plunge and book:) it’s an opportunity of a lifetime!

Chris and the team were such warm and effective tour guides. They made very clear they were responsible for us at all times, which I appreciated as it reminded me that I was not just representing myself in Africa, but I was representing Chris and his team as well. They were perfect professionals, they were fun to talk with, and carried with them deep knowledge of their respective country’s histories, and the animals we would be seeing. On top of that they had such genuine enthusiasm and reverence for the animals themselves. I learned so much about everything we saw. We were taken to such incredible and unforgettable places. I saw the true majesty of Africa through their guidance. We even saw an extremely rare species of leopard. I knew it to be a genuine rare sight when I saw just how excited Chris was to see it himself. That level of authenticity is rarely shown on tours. Chris and his team make an unforgettable trip!
