You'll go on a game drive in your safari vehicle. Your guide will help you spot a wide range of animals, such as Cape buffalo, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and various antelopes. If you're lucky, you might even see a lion or a leopard. After the drive, you'll return to your lodge for lunch. Later, you'll take an unforgettable boat tour to the bottom of the iconic Murchison Falls. The cruise offers great opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, and waterbucks, along with many different bird species. After the boat tour, you'll head back to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night. Mid-range lodge located inside Murchison Falls NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3

Day 4
You will start your day with an early morning chimpanzee trek in the lush Kalinzu Forest, immersing yourself in a thrilling chimp experience. Accompanied by experienced guides, you’ll track and observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat, an unforgettable encounter with nature. After the trek, you'll relax on a scenic boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Linking Lake Edward and Lake George, this waterway teems with wildlife. From the boat, you'll spot elephants, buffalo, and antelopes at the water’s edge, while hippos and crocodiles laze nearby. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by over 600 species, including African skimmers and fish eagles, making it a true birding paradise. Mid-range lodge located just outside Kyambura Gorge (Chimps) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
After breakfast, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Isasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, keeping an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions along the way. The journey itself is an adventure, winding through the stunning Kigezi highlands, where rolling hills and breathtaking vistas dominate the scenery. By evening, you'll arrive at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge, settle in, and enjoy dinner before retiring for the night. Mid-range lodge located just outside Rushaga (Bwindi Impenetrable NP) Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
The day begins with an early breakfast before setting off with a packed lunch and plenty of water. From there, you’ll proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing on essential guidelines for spending time in the forest with the gentle mountain gorillas. Afterward, experienced rangers and guides will lead the way into the thick jungle to begin the trek. The path can be steep, uneven, and occasionally muddy, demanding some physical effort. Still, the rich scenery and beauty of the rainforest make every step worthwhile. Once the gorillas are found, the sense of fatigue disappears, replaced by what many describe as one of the world’s most moving wildlife encounters. Since the weather in the forest is unpredictable and showers can come suddenly, it’s best to carry waterproof clothing and protective covers for cameras or other valuables. After the trek, you’ll return to the Birdnest at Bunyonyi Resort to unwind, enjoy dinner, and settle in for the night. Mid-range resort located at Lake Bunyonyi Dinner (Breakfast & lunch not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 7
After enjoying breakfast, you'll begin a relaxed journey back toward Kampala, continuing onward to Entebbe International Airport. The drive generally takes about 9 hours. Depending on available time, you may pause along the way, perhaps at the Equator for photos, at Mpigi to see skilled artisans crafting royal drums with age-old techniques, or in Kampala for some last-minute shopping. Arrival in Kampala or Entebbe is expected in the afternoon. Please ensure your outbound flight is scheduled for late afternoon or evening; if not, we can make arrangements for an additional night in Entebbe. 5.0/5I have been on a few wildlife tours before, but nothing compares to my first gorilla trekking experience with Leonne Safaris and Adventures. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized including; the on-time pickup, comfortable lodges, the trek itself, and even the journey back. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. Seeing these incredible gorillas up close was truly life-changing. I can’t recommend Leonne Safaris and Adventures enough for anyone planning a safari in Uganda.
