Day 1
Nairobi-Hell's Gate National Park
You'll be picked up from the airport or your city hotel and drive to Lake Naivasha with a stop at Hell's Gate. The park, which is mainly comprised of the savannah ecosystem and harbors a wide variety of wildlife. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, verreaux's eagles, augur buzzards and swifts. African buffalos, zebras, elands, hartebeests, Thomson's gazelle, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to klipspringer antelope. Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake which is a popular tourist spot in Kenya. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may also choose to book a one-hour lake boat safari at an extra cost during which you get to see some of the lake's wildlife such as hippos as well as to enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes. Day 2
Naivasha-Lake Nakuru National Park
You'll have an early morning pick up then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Rift Valley's most famous Lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingos, it is alkaline and recognized as being one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingoes, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times, there may be almost 2 million flamingoes in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. You'll arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge. There are possibilities to upgrade to more luxurious accommodation (at an extra cost) or downgrade to more economic options (price reduction). Day 3
Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, we'll leave for Masai Mara where we'll have a full-day game drive with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lions, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It is one of the few places where it is possible to see the Big Five during a morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagles, many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 of bustards (including the kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at a camp or lodge of your choice. It is possible to upgrade to more luxurious accommodation (at an extra cost) or downgrade to more economical options (price reduction). Masai Mara- Diani Beach
You will wake up at 6:00 am for a sunrise game drive. At 9:00 am, you will drive back to your accommodation for brunch then depart to Mombasa for some days of relaxation and memorable experiences. You'll have a fun vacation with amazing landscapes. Your lunch will be en-route. In the afternoon, you'll catch a flight from Nairobi to Ukunda Airport. Diani Beach
Take a deep breath and pamper yourself with a relaxing stay at the beach. You will enjoy a quiet place, of crystalline turquoise water, white sand and a huge seashore with only the noise of the sea and the gulls in the background. This place has become popular for its exotic beaches, diverse marine life, world-class hotels and friendly people. Nightlife is always exciting, and the city offers many dance clubs and casinos that cater to a variety of entertainment tastes. Commitment and service delivery at its best!
We took a 6 day safari covering Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Amboseli national park. The tour was well planned by Charles and executed by Jared our guide. We managed to see all the big 5 both in Mara and Amboseli among other predators and grazers. We also saw hippo and crocodiles at Mara river. Jared knew the best routes to warrant sighting of of the wildlife. His sense of humour was amazing and he was always patient with us. Salina Wild Adventures did a commendable job. Highly recommended.
