Nairobi-Amboseli National Park
Your safari adventure begins in Nairobi, where you’ll be picked up in the morning and drive southeast to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After lunch at your camp or lodge, enjoy your first game drive in the park, with chances to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of birdlife set against the dramatic mountain backdrop. Full day Game drive in Amboseli
Spend day two exploring Amboseli on morning and afternoon game drives. You’ll traverse open plains and swamp areas fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro’s glaciers, which attract abundant wildlife. Between game drives, relax at your lodge or opt for a cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village. Day 3
Amboseli National Park-Lake Naivasha
On day three, depart Amboseli after breakfast and head north toward Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for a late lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the lake, gliding past hippos and waterbirds, and take a guided walk on Crescent Island, one of the few places in Kenya where you can walk safely among wild animals. Day four takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its seasonal flamingo flocks, diverse birdlife, and endangered rhinos. After lunch, head into the park for an afternoon game drive. Keep your eyes open for lions, leopards, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, and rhinos along the lake shores and in the acacia woodlands. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive across the open plains, where you might spot elephants, antelope, and the Mara’s iconic big cats before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner. Days six and seven are dedicated to full-day game viewing in the Masai Mara. With picnic lunch boxes, you’ll venture deeper into the reserve in search of the Big Five and possibly witness a wildebeest river crossing (seasonal). The landscape shifts from grassland plains to riverine forests and acacia-dotted savannahs, offering a rich variety of habitats and wildlife encounters. Descend for a champagne breakfast on the plains before rejoining your guide for a mid‑morning game drive. Spend the afternoon exploring river crossings—prime spots for witnessing wildebeest during migration months (July–October). Return to camp for a sundown sundowner and share your balloon memories around the campfire over a hearty dinner.
