Day 1
Nairobi- Amboseli National Park
You'll be picked up from JKIA/ your Nairobi hotel in the morning and driven to Amboseli National Park to arrive in time for lunch. Amboseli National Park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the second largest mountain in the world. It dominates the landscape and open plains. After a brief rest, at 3 pm, you will head out for an afternoon game drive till sunset, when you will return to the lodge for rest. Lunch, dinner, and your overnight will be at Ol Tukai lodge. Day 2
Full-Day in Amboseli National Park
Today's flexibility is on another level. With the good views of Mount Kilimanjaro, you will head for a breakfast drive for a full day game drive, before clouds build up over the summit, with a packed lunch provided. Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephants at close range, as they are less harassed by poachers. Elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps must form the highlights of your safari. Alternatively, you can head for an early morning game drive, then come back and take your breakfast at your lodge. Later, you'll enjoy the amenities of the camp until 4:00 pm, when you will enjoy an afternoon game drive and a nice view of the sunset. Day 3
Amboseli- Tsavo West National Park
You rise early for an exciting game drive with magnificent views of the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. You return to the lodge for a late breakfast. Then, you depart for Tsavo West National Park, arriving for lunch at camp. The park is set with gently rolling plains, picturesque Taita Hills, and lava flows, all in a plateau dotted with acacia, scrub, and bushland. This is home to a variety of wildlife, including the famed Tsavo elephants and lions. In the afternoon, have an afternoon game drive and, if time allows, visit Mzima Springs. Then, you will return to the lodge in the evening for rest, dinner, and your overnight at the camp. Tsavo West- Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
You'll enjoy your early morning breakfast. After breakfast, leave Tsavo West for Taita Hills Sanctuary, a drive of 3 hours. Arrive with a short game drive en route to Salt Lick Game Lodge Sanctuary. Check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, lion, leopards etc. Later, you'll have dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge. Day 5
Taita Hills- Tsavo East National Park
After an early morning game drive, you'll return to the lodge for breakfast. We will drive to Tsavo East National Park, check in at Ashnil Aruba lodge, and have lunch. You'll enjoy an en-route game drive. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling, and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300-kilometer-long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, makes for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. In the afternoon, you'll have another exciting game drive till sunset. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Day 6
Tsavo East- Diani Beach
An early morning game drive followed by a hearty breakfast, then check out of the lodge. You'll leave for Voi Train Station, where you will board your train to Mombasa. You will be picked up by our representative at the Mombasa train station for a transfer to your beach resort, where you will spend your beach holiday at Diani. You’ll spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing on the warm sandy beaches. Diani has undoubtedly one of the best white sandy beaches in Africa. In the morning, after breakfast at the resort, you have an option of going for a tour or spending time on the warm sandy beaches. The never-ending excitement of your Kenyan wildlife experience leaves you feeling exhausted and desiring a more relaxed place. The Kenyan coastline is a superb location to rejuvenate before returning home. A coastal gate away to Diani takes you to a majestic tropical paradise of blue-green waters lapping at long, soft sand beaches. It's perfect for swimming and many other water sports that include kayaking, deep sea diving, windsurfing, and snorkeling, which can be arranged at an extra cost. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ukunda airport, where you will make a domestic connecting flight to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). Suppose your outbound flight only departs late evening, we can arrange for a late check-out from the hotel. You will fly to JKIA with enough time for check-in (usually leave around 3-4 hours for this activity). Today marks the last day of your epic and leisurely-paced Kenyan safari. I was referred to Arzoni Africa Safaris by a friend. My Canadian boyfriend informed me around June that he was planning to have spend a two weeks safari and beach relaxation in Kenya and Tanzania. Parks of his interest were Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu, Amboseli, Taita hills, Ol Pajeta and Lake Naivasha. Sam made our safari planning seamless and every request by my boyfriend and I were considered in the final itinerary. Overally, we had 10 days of safari and 4 nights in Zanzibar. The choice of accommodations was amazing and our expectations were met. Food was also excellent except in Elewana Tortilis (Amboseli) which were somewhat too spicy.
