You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts cannot be arranged by this operator.
Day 1
You will be warmly welcomed at the airport or your hotel by your private guide. After a short briefing, step into your private Land Cruiser and set off to begin your safari adventure. You arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos — and one of the few places in the world where you can approach them on foot. Accompanied by expert rangers, you’ll take part in rhino trekking, a truly unique and unforgettable wildlife encounter that brings you face-to-face with these magnificent giants. After the trek, you will spend the night at the sanctuary, where rhinos often come to sleep near the lodges. Budget guest house located in Ziwa Rhino Ranch Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
Enjoy your breakfast as rhinos stroll peacefully around the lodge — a truly unforgettable start to the day. Afterward, continue your journey north to Uganda’s largest and oldest protected area, Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll begin exploring the park with a visit to the top of the world’s most powerful waterfall. We’ll take you to the best viewpoint, where you can witness not just one, but two magnificent waterfalls. After that, you’ll check into your accommodation before continuing the adventure with a sunset game drive — a chance to search for the rest of the Big Five. Day 3
Start your day with an early morning game drive through the vast savannah of Murchison Falls National Park. The early hours are the best time to witness predators returning from the hunt and herbivores grazing in the soft golden light. Wildlife is incredibly diverse here, with chances of seeing lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and many other animals. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Nile, the longest river in the world, heading upstream to the base of Murchison Falls — the most powerful waterfall on the planet. Watch as the entire Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-meter-wide gorge before crashing 43 meters down with incredible force. Along the way, enjoy excellent wildlife viewing, spotting hippos, Nile crocodiles, and elephants along the riverbanks. After, continue on another exciting sunset safari game drive! Day 4
Start the day with a final drive through Murchison Falls National Park. The early morning hours offer some of the best chances to spot wildlife like hyenas and other elusive animals — so keep your eyes (and camera) ready. From there, head south toward Kibale Forest, with the scenery shifting dramatically along the way. The open savannah gradually gives way to vibrant green hills and lush tea plantations, painting a picture of Uganda’s diverse beauty. Check in at your lodge and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Day 5
Start your day with a visit to a local vanilla plantation, where you’ll discover the full journey of one of Uganda’s most prized crops. Walk among the vine-draped shade trees as you learn how vanilla is carefully hand-pollinated, nurtured, and harvested. Your hosts will show you the slow, meticulous curing process that gives Ugandan vanilla its deep aroma and rich flavour, and you’ll gain insight into how this delicate crop supports local farmers and communities. Then we’ll head to one of the most picturesque regions of Uganda — the slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains, known for producing some of the country’s finest high-altitude coffee. Visit a local coffee roaster to learn every step of the journey — from planting the seed to drying, roasting, and finally savoring a fresh cup. Later, take a short hike through the hills to see how coffee grows in its natural setting, passing through local communities along the way for a glimpse into everyday life in this beautiful mountain region. Day 6
Start your morning with a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s premier wildlife destinations. The park is home to an incredible variety of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and elusive leopards, often seen lounging in the shade. In the afternoon, set off on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, home to one of the world’s largest hippo populations. You’ll glide past massive pods of hippos, crocodiles basking on the banks, and large herds of animals coming to drink. Few places in Africa offer such consistent and close-up encounters with wildlife. In the evening, rest in your lodge or continue with a sunset game drive. Mid-range lodge located just outside Queen Elizabeth NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 7
This morning, head for a chimpanzee trekking experience at Kalinzu Forest. With the help of experienced local guides, you’ll track a chimp group and, once found, spend up to one hour observing their behavior in the wild. It’s a raw, unfiltered wildlife experience that gives real insight into how these primates live. After, embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Mid-range lodge located just outside Ruhija (Bwindi Impenetrable NP) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 8
Today you’ll trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. After a short briefing, set off with your guide into the forest to track one of the habituated gorilla families. Once located, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing them up close — playing, moving through the trees, and interacting with each other in their natural environment. After the trek, continue your adventure to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most breathtaking and peaceful places in Uganda. Mid-range hotel located at Lake Bunyonyi All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 9
Start your day at Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful and serene spots in Uganda. Surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with 29 small islands, this lake is Africa’s second deepest — and completely free of crocodiles and hippos, making it ideal for a peaceful experience. Here you will embark on a boat adventure to explore some of these islands, taking in the stunning scenery and getting a glimpse of local life along the lakeshore. After, head to Lake Mburo National Park. Budget lodge located just outside Lake Mburo NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 10
Begin the day with a guided walking safari, led by an armed ranger — a unique way to get closer to the animals in Lake Mburo National Park. The park is one of the best places in Uganda to see large herds of zebras and the striking Rothschild’s giraffe. You may also encounter topis, elands, and other antelope species, along with a wide variety of birdlife. After the walk, you’ll begin the drive back to Entebbe. Along the way, you’ll stop at the Equator for photos and a chance to pick up some local crafts. You’re expected to arrive in Entebbe by early evening. Everything went smoothly and Innocent our tour guide) didn't want to give up on showing us the bird, even though it was getting late. We succeeded! As a fairly experienced safari traveller (Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa), this was my first visit to Uganda. I booked my vacation directly at Wild Uganda. I was charmed by its reviews and the very good value for money in comparison with other operators. There were quite some extra wishes to the standard 10 days offer such as an extra day and different lodges. Communication was very easy and fast via WhatsApp; I also had a very nice video conversation with Ernest. He was very friendly, helpful, flexible and fulfilled all our extra wishes. Then the journey itself: as said we made several Safaris before in other countries and I must say this one was the most diverse. We did a lot of game drives in Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo and saw a lot of wild life: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and so on. On top of that we had walking safaris at Ziwa (rhino 's), Kibale (chimps), Bwindi (gorillas) and Lake Mburo (giraffe, zebra etc). We also had boat trips at Lake Victoria (shoebills), Murchison Falls, Kazinga Channel and Lake Bunyonyi. Along the way we visited local communities such as a coffee farm, vanilla plantation, banana beer brewery and primary school. The Ugandese people are very warm and hospitable and real ambassadors for their country. Although it is hard to make a ranking in all of our activities, I must highlight the gorilla track since before booking we were in doubt whether we wanted to spend relatively much money on this tour. I must say it was stunning and worth every penny! Accommodations were very nice, especially for its locations, welcoming staff and good meals. See reviews on Google maps to get an impression of what to expect. I read some rare negative stories of the lodges we visited, but the only thing I can say is that these are mainly based on unreasonable standards or expectations and ours are solely positive. Most of all I'd like to mention our guide Allanie, who did a wonderful job at accommodating and establishing this breath taking experience! We had an informal daily briefing and everything was fitted to our wishes. He provided very useful information and extra stops at places of our interest. If you have the opportunity, I would certainly recommend to book for 10+ days. This will give you the chance to relax every now and then and process all the experiences. Im short, whenever I return to Uganda I will definitely book at this organisation again and can recommend anyone to do so as well.

Our 10 Days Best of Uganda Tour truly showed us why Uganda is called the “Pearl of Africa.” The diversity of experiences within a relatively short time made the trip feel very complete. The wildlife we experienced throughout the trip was incredibly abundant. A major highlight, and one of the main reasons for our journey, was the chimpanzee and gorilla tracking, which was truly unforgettable. In addition, we saw leopard cubs, a baby rhino, lions (including a tree-climbing lion during a hunt), and much more – these are only a few examples of what we encountered on a daily basis. One fun highlight was that we managed to see the Big Five in under 24 hours. The boat cruises on the Nile and along the Kazinga Channel were also particularly impressive. Beyond the animals, the cultural side of the trip was just as memorable. We visited a local cinema, did a gin tasting, learned about local coffee and vanilla farming, and even had the chance to play football with a group of kids in a village. These experiences made the trip feel very authentic and personal. Allaine was an excellent guide – very knowledgeable, attentive, and also great fun to be around. His sense of humor and the balance he found between engaging with us and giving us time on our own made a real difference throughout the trip. The accommodations were well chosen, with welcoming staff and good food – perfect for relaxing after active days. Communication with the tour operator was smooth and reliable from the very beginning. The planning process was straightforward, and all questions were answered quickly and clearly. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend. We would definitely travel again with Wild Uganda and especially with Allaine as a guide.

Our 5-day safari with Wild Uganda was simply unforgettable! From the planning stage to departure, everything was perfectly organized. The team was always available and took all our wishes into account. The accommodations were excellent, perfectly tailored to our needs, and offered breathtaking views. The safari itself was an absolute highlight: from Queen Elizabeth National Park to chimpanzee trekking and our personal highlight – gorilla trekking – every moment was unique. The walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park was also a very special experience. It was incredible how close we sometimes got to the animals – a feeling we will never forget. We truly went through every emotion: tears of joy, goosebumps, and moments of complete speechlessness. A very special thank you to our guide Allaine! He was simply amazing – always helpful, friendly, and attentive. We shared many laughs with him and felt safe and perfectly taken care of at all times. He always brought us to the best photo spots, allowing us to capture unforgettable memories. With his extensive knowledge of wildlife and plants, as well as his experience, he taught us so much and shared his passion with us. If we ever go on a safari in Uganda again, it will only be with Allaine and Wild Uganda! Thank you for everything – this is a trip we will never forget! We highly recommend Wild Uganda and would book with them again anytime!
