Transfer to Antananarivo
When you arrive at the airport, we will be there waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it. After picking you up at the airport we will drive to our hotel in Antananarivo and give you a special briefing about your upcoming journey and answer any questions you may have about your upcoming adventure. Day 2
Andasibe-Mantadia National Park
After taking breakfast, you will head to Andasibe. You will have to visit a reptile park en route, where you will see different species of chameleons, geckos, snakes, crocodiles, frogs, one of the largest butterflies of Madagascar as well as 2 different species of lemurs. This visit will take you about 2 hours. Afterwards, you will drive further to have lunch before you continue to Andasibe. And once you arrive in Andasibe, you will check in at your hotel and get ready for a night walk to see the night active lemurs, frogs and chameleons. Day 3
Visiting Andasibe-Mantadia National Park
Today, you will enjoy a full day on a Madagascar wildlife safari with a visit to Andasibe Analamazaotra National Park. The primary forests contain a dense humid forest. It is covered with leans, moss, fern trees and more than a hundred orchid species. It contains many species of lemurs, like the indri-indri the largest of all, diademed sifaka, common brown lemurs, bamboo lemurs and sportive lemurs too. Other common plants growing here are pandanus, ravinala palm tree, tambourissa, bamboos and some precious wood, like palisander and ebony. The extraordinary animal diversity is completed with another 15 mammal species, and more than 100 birds (many of them endemic, like the Madagascar yellow brow). In the afternoon, you will head to the Vakona Reserve to play with the lemurs and see many crocodiles as well as whistling ducks, kingfishers and other species of birds. Day 4
Transfer to Palmarium Reserve
You will have breakfast in the hotel then continue driving on the RN2 toward Ankanin’ny Nofy Reserve. When you arrive in Manambato, you will take a boat and sail on for one hour and a half on the Pangalanes channel till you arrive at the Ankanin’ny Nofy Reserve. Day 5
Visit of Palmarium Reserve
Today after breakfast, you will be visiting the park by enjoying all the lemurs around you which will be jumping on your hands and shoulders, and watching different species of birds. In the afternoon, you will profit from a beach swim or simply relax by the beach. Overnight in Palmarium at Palm Beach hotel or similar. Transfer to Mahambo
After your breakfast, you will embark on a boat along the Pangalanes canal heading to Tamatave then continue to Mahambo as the final destination of the day. The boat will take you approximately 3 hours. On arrival in Tamatave, you will have lunch before continuing to Mahambo. Overnight in Mahambo at La Pirogue hotel or similar. Today after breakfast, you will be driving to the embarking place and boarding a boat heading to Sainte Marie. The boarding place is located a few minutes drive from your hotel. The ride is going to take you about 3 hours. When you reach Sainte Marie, you will be transferred to your hotel and relax for the evening. Transfer to Antananarivo
After your breakfast at the hotel, you will take a 45-minute flight from Sainte Marie to Antananarivo. However, this is depending on the flight time which determines the time you will drive to the airport. When you arrive in Antananarivo you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel and get checked into your hotel and take some time to get settled. In the afternoon, you will take a moment to go and explore historical places in Antananarivo, including the Manjakamiadana Palace, and the Andafiavaratra Museum, in which you will learn about the history of the Malagasy Kingdom. Soul of Madagascar is great agency. Reasonable price compare to other tour operators, very patient - as we were changing our routes a few times adding a new destination points, everything was done very well - a few times quality of the hotels exceeded our expectations. For 18-days safari it wasn't even one failure. Very good guide - Eric Zozo - he shared a lot of info, always helpful. We felt very well taken care of. Also, what is very important on very difficult Madagascar roads - very good drivers. I will always recommend this travel agency.

Perfect organisation and a very supportive team
We asked for an organised tour and everything went very smooth and the answers to our questions came immediately. We only had to transfer some money in advance to Madagaskar and we brought the rest in cash. The tour guide spoke a very good English and was always very informative and helpful. We had a wonderful time without worrying where to stay or how to get there. Don't underestimate distances because the roads are sometimes not very well maintained.

We had an amazing 5 day tour of Madagascar, thanks to the well organised itinerary done by Soul of Madagascar (Theresia).
