Antananarivo is also known by its colonial shorthand form, Tana, which is the capital and the largest city of Madagascar in the Analamanga region. The city sits at 1,280 m above sea level in the center of the island, making it the highest national capital by elevation among the island countries. It has been the country's largest population center since at least the 18th century. It. Budget hotel located in Antananarivo (City) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll transfer directly to Antananarivo airport for a flight to Morondava. Get some shots of the beautiful scenery in the place before continuing to Kirindy. You check in at your hotel. There is a guided night walk at Kirindy. The private reserve is well-known for its giant jumping rat, the “Fosa”, the largest carnivorous animal in the country. It is also one of the reserves having the most endangered ecosystems, lemur species, and many endemic reptile species. There are also some unique species of rare flora. A night walk is organised. Day 3
After breakfast, you'll drive to the Tsingy of Bemaraha. There will be lunch at Belo Sur Tsiribihina, after that you will head north on a drive-by land track, well-known as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Cross the two rivers, Tsiribihina and Manambolo, on a small car ferry before arriving at Bekopaka village. Bekopaka is a rural municipality in western Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Antsalova, which is a part of the Melaky Region. Bekopaka is served by a local airport, and primary and junior level secondary education are available in town. The most important crop is rice, while other important products are bananas, maize, and cassava. Bekopaka is situated on the Manambolo River. Day 4
After breakfast, you'll visit the Tsingy, one of the most extraordinary sites with the real cathedral of limestone. The dense network of faults, cracks, and blocks of limestone carved in blades is one of the most prominent landscapes of Madagascar. There are six species of lemurs, reptiles, and 53 varieties of birds among the marvels, which are also the housing environment of the smallest sort of chameleon, the “Brookesia`` and where you can appreciate the magnificent sunset. The Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park is a national park located in northwest Madagascar. The national park centers on two geological formations: the Great Tsingy and the Little Tsingy, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is crossed by the Manambolo River. The Tsingys are karstic plateaus in which groundwater has undercut the elevated uplands and has gouged caverns and fissures into the limestone. Day 5
You drive to Morondava town via the famous “Alley of Baobabs”. You'll arrive on time for great pictures when the sun is low, raking light, and smooth trunks reflect the orange rays of the sun. You settle at the hotel by the sea for dinner. Lunch at Belo sur Tsiribihina. The Avenue of the Baobabs, or Alley of the Baobabs, is a prominent group of Grandidier's baobabs lining the unpaved Road No.8 between Morondava and Belon'i Tsiribihina in the Menabe region of western Madagascar. Its striking landscape draws travelers from around the world, making it one of the most visited locations in the region. The trees, which are endemic to Madagascar, are about 30 m in height. The baobab trees, known locally as renala are a legacy of the dense tropical forests that once thrived on Madagascar. The trees did not originally tower in isolation over the sere landscape of scrub, but stood in dense forest. 5.0/5I did a 10-day tour with I Travel 2 Madagascar and loved every bit of it! Being a student my budget was fixed, but they made sure everything (even flight!) was included and there were no surprises. The travel by car was very comfortable and went smoothly (as far as the streets of Madagascar allow it :D ) I had a great experience, everything was planned out perfectly while still allowing some flexibility and this was very comfortable. Because it was low season I had to travel alone, but they made sure I always felt safe and never lonely! Everyone was very respectful, but also fun and we had great times together. I could tell Zo has lots of experience as a tour guide and he explained lots of interesting flora & fauna, but also culture and life in general in Madagascar. He made sure I didn't miss anything! The local guides were also very nice and informative. All of the hotels were clean and comfortable, some more luxurious than others but all great and they had everything I needed! Overall Lova and Zo made me feel very welcomed, well taken care of and I could not have imagined a better trip. They are amazing and honest people and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We had a great tour and time with Lova and her team. We are last minute people, however organizing the tour was very easy as Lova was extremely reactive on WhatsApp and remained always very flexible to adapt to our wishes and taste. Beyond incredible lemurs and baobabs, Lova also provided a lot of insights and tips into Malagasy culture and traditions, while making sure everything worked out as planned and always on time. Roads in the country are complicated, but the slow pace gives you time to enjoy its spectacular landscapes. Travelling in Madagascar requires you to remain open minded, flexible and relaxed, let time and plans just flow. And I Travel 2 Madagascar will make sure you enjoy its people and nature to the fullest. Thanks Lova for making it so easy and enjoyable for us.

I did a 15 day solo trip with Itravel2madagascar,I visited Antananarivo, Morondava,Alley of baobabs, Kirindy forest, Tsingy de bemaraha, Ranomofana and Andisabe. This country is unique and extraordinary,The fauna and flora is outstanding, from the Verraux sifaka and baobab trees in the west to the Indri lemur and Travellers tree in the east, the different chameleons and geckos, plus colourful boa snakes. The journey between the main destinations is also entertaining, with interesting and colourful sights. A lot of side shows were organised by the guides. My guides,Lova,Zo and Kiady were friendly and informative,Their communication was very good.I learnt a lot about the people of the country and their particular customs, according to the regions. My drivers,Solo,Sasa and Fano were superb, considering the road conditions.I always felt safe. The field guides were also very good.I learnt a lot about the fauna and flora. The hotels were all very good and all have swimming pools. The food is very good and there are road side restaurants that serve tasty, filling food at a very good price. Overall,it was a fantastic tour and I would highly recommend Itravel2madagascar.Book your tour.

We recently spent 9 days in Madagascar with a private tour organized by “I Travel 2 Madagascar”. The tour was very well organized and coordinated by Lova, the head of this tour company, and her staff. Lova made sure that we got to see as many highlights as possible in our short time there. She helped us choose which sights were the most important to see and whether to drive to save some money and or to fly to not save some time. Communication before and during the tour was very responsive. Everyone we met in the company was always friendly and helpful. They were always on time or early. The value for money was excellent. We had self-booked everything on the African continent and the cost was similar to self-booking, but the experience was so much easier and better! (But please remember to add on the cost of tips for the guide, driver and local guides.) The sights were all wonderful!! (I would recommend at least 12 to 14 days in Madagascar to see more of the sights with less rushing. Three weeks would be better.) I wish we had more time because the wildlife (like all the different types of the lemurs) and the landscape were unique. The wildlife parks that they chose for us were excellent for learning about, observing and even interacting with wildlife. I had both chameleons and lemurs climbing on me! The guides and drivers were excellent and all the hotels were up to our western standards, being clean, air-conditioned and with private bathrooms. In summary, I highly recommend “I Travel to Madagascar” tour company. They gave us an excellent experience in their country and did it at a very fair budget price. I will definitely travel with them again if I ever get to go back.
