Day 1
Fly from Dar es Salaam to Arusha, then Transfer to Tarangire NP for an Exiting Game Drive
Arusha to Tarangire National Park: 2 Hours. Program of the Day: Your day begins at 6:00 am with a transfer to Dar-es-Salaam Airport for an 8:00 am flight to Arusha, arriving at 9:15 am. From there, your guide will drive you 1.5 hours to Tarangire National Park, sharing stories about Arusha and the Maasai culture along the way. Enjoy a full-day game drive through Tarangire, famous for its vast elephant herds, diverse landscapes, and predators like lions and leopards. A packed lunch will be served inside the park. The game drive ends around 4:00 pm, after which you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Transfer from Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater for Game Drive, then Fly back to Dar es Salaam/Zanzibar
Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater: 30 Minutes. Program of the Day: After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will drive to Ngorongoro for an early game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater. The early drive offers the best views of the crater and the most active wildlife. This park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, and is one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals, including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see many animals in a short time. After an unforgettable afternoon game drive, you will be transferred in comfort to Arusha Airport for your 5:30 pm flight, with the choice of Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam at no additional cost. Upon landing, your private driver will be ready to whisk you back to your hotel, ensuring a smooth and relaxing end to your safari adventure.
