Day 1
Diani/Mombasa to Tsavo East
You will be picked up from your hotel at 7:00 am. Drive along the Mombasa/Nairobi highway and arrive at Bachuma gate at around 9:00 am. Here, you will begin your game viewing. Visit various places, including the Aruba Dam (built by the British Army in 1952 during Colonial times). After the game drive, you will check in at the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, you will relax until 4:00 pm and then begin a game drive until sunset. Later, you will have dinner and an overnight stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge. Tsavo East to Diani/Mombasa
Wake up early and have breakfast. You will check out and proceed with a game drive en route to the gate. Then, exit the park and start the drive to Diani or the airport. We had a private safari (2 person). It is not the cheapest but well worth it. We planned it quite last minute but everything was arranged and communicated clearly and timely. The guide was great and really made sure we had the best experience.

Excellent 2-days off-season safari
During our safari we had nice weather, good food, friendly staff everywhere and we saw a lot of interesting animals. Everything was well organised. Our guide, Kevin was kind, knowledgable and patient enought to stop for even the least interesting animals. We saw elephants, giraffes, hyenas, baboons, zebras, gazelles, water bucks, gnus, ostriches, hyppos and many other species in the park. Seeing a herd of elephants up close is a remarkable experience. I can recommend the company and the Amboseli national park too.
