Day 1

Leave Nairobi town at 6:00 AM for Nanyuki (if you are being picked up from Nairobi). This is a three-hour drive by road through a beautiful countryside. Breakfast in Nanyuki (own cost) then proceed to Sirimon at 10 AM. We prepare and sort the hiking items and then have lunch before the hike starts. From the gate, we follow the track as it winds uphill through the forest, which later becomes heathland land to Old Moses camp (3300m asl). Dinner and overnight stay at Old Moses camp cabin. Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinks not included

Day 2

Old Moses Camp- Shipton's Camp

After breakfast, follow the track uphill, forking left at the junction. After one hour from Old Moses camp, the track crosses the Ontulili River. Go right contouring through the moorland and crossing Likii North, and continue uphill to Mackinder’s Valley, from where there are panoramic views up the valley towards the main peaks. Dinner and overnight at Shipton's camp. All meals included Drinks not included

Leave at 0200 AM up a steep stony quarry that cuts through a cliff, clearing visible part towards the lower hall tarns arriving point Lenana(4,985m) at 6:30 AM, taking about 3 hrs. After the sunrise, descend to Shipton's camp for breakfast and later proceed down to Old Moses camp for lunch. Upon finishing your lunch, you board your private vehicle for transfer back to Nairobi. We had a great time in Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli. The tour was well organized, with beautiful lodges (we loved Satao Camp and Severin Safari Camp), John was very helpful and also helped to organize a birthday surprise for a friend, Amos our tour guide was just awesome, he gave everything to make our tour unforgettable.
