Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
Upon arrival at the airport or pickup from your hotel, your driver-guide from Iriza Tours & Safaris will welcome you and take you on a Kigali city tour. You will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, explore the vibrant Kimironko Market, and experience the local atmosphere of the city. After the tour, continue your scenic drive toward Nyungwe National Park with a stop at the King's Palace Museum to learn about Rwanda’s royal history and cultural heritage. Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe Forest
After an early breakfast, head into the rainforest for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience in Nyungwe National Park. Guided by experienced trackers, you will hike through the forest trails searching for chimpanzees and other primates while enjoying the sounds and beauty of the jungle. Nyungwe Forest is one of Africa’s oldest rainforests and home to rich biodiversity including birds, orchids, and unique wildlife species. Canopy Walk & Zipline Experience, Return to Kigali
Following breakfast, check out from the lodge and head for the famous Nyungwe Canopy Walk. Suspended high above the rainforest, the canopy walkway offers spectacular panoramic views across the forest and surrounding mountains. You will also enjoy an exciting zipline experience over the forest before beginning your journey back to Kigali. Along the way, enjoy Rwanda’s beautiful countryside landscapes before being dropped off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
