You will arrive at Arathusa Safari Lodge and check into your luxurious suite. Relax at the lodge and freshen up after the long drive. Depart on a late-afternoon game drive in the reserve, hoping to spot the Big Five. Enjoy dinner under the stars in the boma, listening to the sounds of the African bush. *Private road transfers from Johannesburg can be arranged at R7500 for 1-3 people. Morning & Sunset Safari
You will wake up early for a sunrise game drive, hoping to catch a glimpse of the animals as they wake up. Return to the lodge for a leisurely brunch. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool, exploring the lodge, or going on a bush walk. Depart on an afternoon game drive, hoping to see even more animals. You'll enjoy dinner under the stars in the boma, telling stories and laughing around the campfire. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
