Lusaka to McBrides' Camp
You will have a road transfer from Lusaka to McBrides' Camp. The camp offers seven private thatched chalets, each accommodating two people with en-suite bathrooms. The open-air dining room provides stunning views of the Kafue River and can accommodate up to fourteen guests. The camp also has a reference library and light reading material available for guests. Solar power is available in the office to charge batteries, and Wi-FI access is available upon request. Discover our enchanting riverside hide where we offer unrivaled moments of relaxation. Optional extras at a charge - *Fishing opportunities: This features a rich variety of bream species, pike, and yellowfish. *Swimming in the natural hotspring *1300Bush walks: Our walking safaris primarily occur around the serene Mushingashi stream. These educational adventures offer a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of the bush (surcharge applies). Hot springs: Escape to our natural hot springs for an off-the-beaten-path experience, reconnecting with nature and basking in the therapeutic qualities of geothermal waters. After having a very disorganized experience in Tanzania via another tour operator, we were happy that our accommodation/reservations looked as pictured and were on the dates we had asked for. The guide and wait staff were great. My food request for not eating fish was upheld and luckily there was only one snack that had mayonnaise, so I could eat almost all the food. The view of the Luangwa River at Thornicroft was amazing. We saw leopards, lions, and several other types of wildlife.
