Durban to Phinda Private Game Reserve
Guests will be picked up in Durban and travel to Phinda Zuka Lodge. The drive is between 3 and 4 hours. Upon arrival at Phinda Zuka Lodge, you can enjoy some refreshments and relax until it is time for your afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle, with sundowners and snacks along the drive. Take along the complimentary pair of Swarovski Optik binoculars for the best views of elusive animals. Back at the lodge, a scrumptious dinner awaits. Game Drives & Bush Walks
Rise early for a hot drink before you depart on the early morning game drive, during which you can enjoy a bush cappuccino rendezvous between searches for animals. Back at the villa, you can savour brunch before relaxing until high tea in the afternoon. Your afternoon game drive will follow the pattern of the previous evening, rounded off by dinner. After an early rise and your favourite hot drink, your last morning game drive will offer another opportunity to spot some nocturnal animals still hunting around. You will also experience another African sunrise and brunch back at the lodge before it is time for your departure. You can also swop the morning game drive for an exhilarating bush walk with your aptly qualified and expert guide. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
