Nairobi to Maasai Mara (Afternoon game drive)
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive via the Rift Valley viewpoints, continuing to Masai Mara with arrival around lunchtime. After lunch and a short rest, depart for an afternoon game drive to explore prime wildlife areas where lions, cheetahs and elephants are commonly seen. Maasai Mara
Enjoy a full-day safari in Masai Mara with early morning and late afternoon game drives, or a longer continuous drive with a picnic lunch depending on wildlife movements. Your guide focuses on the best sightings and tracks big cats as well as large herbivore herds. In the evening, return for dinner and overnight at your accommodation. After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch and check-in. Spend the afternoon at leisure or take an optional activity depending on your lodge location, then enjoy dinner and overnight. This day positions you well for an early start inside Nakuru where rhinos and big cats are often active.
