Day 1
Check in at Tambuti Lodge
You will self-drive to Tambuti Lodge from Johannesburg. However, a transfer from Johannesburg can be arranged at an extra cost. At 13h00, you check in at Tambuti and enjoy lunch in the dining room. Settle in before departing on your evening game drive with a sundowner stop in the reserve. Return to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy dinner in the dining area or around an open boma. Retire to your suite for the evening where you can enjoy a nightcap on your suite's spacious deck while listening to the sounds of the bush. Itinerary
You'll get a wake-up call with coffee and tea before departing on your morning game drive. As the sun rises, you will stop for coffee and rusks. On return to the lodge, you will enjoy a hearty breakfast in the dining room or on the main deck. You have some time for relaxation until 14h00 when lunch is enjoyed in the dining room or around the pool. We meet at the lodge before departing on your evening game drive. As the sun sets, you will stop for sundowners. Return to the lodge for dinner in the dining area or around an open-air boma where the day's sightings will be the highlight of the conversation. Retire to your suite for the evening where you can enjoy a nightcap on your suite's spacious deck while listening to the sounds of the bush. Sandra from Traipsing Africa's Safaris was amazing. She provided a few options and differing price points and gave some helpful suggestions. Compared to the other quotes her was amazing. We got to go to a small luxury lodge for the same or less than others quoted for good but not as great options. Communication was perfect. The drivers to and from the lodge were such good fun. Booked 3 days/2 nights at the Black Rhino Game lodge through Traipsing Africa and Sandra. Everything from request to payment and transport to and from JNB went very smoothly.
