Day 1
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and assisted through immigration. You will then be transferred to your hotel, where a tour briefing will take place in the lobby. Kigali, known for its cleanliness and scenic hills, offers a warm and peaceful welcome to visitors. After check-in, you will have time to relax and enjoy dinner at your hotel. The evening is free for you to unwind and prepare for the exciting days ahead. Day 2
After breakfast, you will check out and begin a guided tour of Kigali, a city that seamlessly blends modern development with deep cultural heritage. Your first stop is the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving tribute to the victims of the 1994 genocide. Through emotional exhibits and personal stories, the memorial provides insight into Rwanda’s history and resilience. Next, you will visit the Inema Arts Center, a creative space that showcases Rwanda’s emerging artists. For lunch, you will dine at Khana Khazana. Afterward, you will embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park. The journey offers breathtaking views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, lush tea plantations, and picturesque countryside. Upon arrival in Musanze, you will check in at your lodge and have time to relax before dinner. Day 3
The day starts early with early breakfast before heading to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking experience by 07h00. You will be assigned to a trekking group and guided through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take anywhere from one to several hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once you find them, you will spend a magical hour observing their behaviors—watching juveniles play, silverbacks protect their family, and mothers care for their infants. After trekking, you will return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before visiting the Gorilla Guardians Village. Here, you will experience traditional Rwandan dances, drumming, and storytelling, as well as learn about local crafts and daily life. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Kigali, arriving in time for dinner and a restful night at your hotel. Mid-range hotel located in Kigali All meals included Drinks not included
Day 4
On your final morning in Rwanda, enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your hotel before checking out. A private transfer will take you to Kigali International Airport, where you will bid farewell to your guide and proceed with your check-in for your outbound air transfer back home. I had the pleasure of experiencing it all with 49 students—and as a teacher, I found myself learning just as much. We wrapped up the day with a lovely lunch and great conversations. Our Tour started from Kigali, we went to Akagera N Park it was a wonderful experience we saw most of the big five : elephants, rhinos, lions ( alot of them thanks to the Tour Guide) , African Buffalo , we also did a boat ride saw different birds it’s was a wonderful experience
