Dependent on your arrival time, you will enjoy an afternoon tour of Kampala with a visit to the 4Africa Offices, one of the local community initiatives that helps improve the lives of women and children through Craft. There are plenty of beautiful souvenirs you can purchase from purses, necklaces, animated stuffed Knit dolls & so much more For all arrivals on Wed, Fri & Sunday, the evenings will be spent at Ndere Cultural Centre, taking you around Ugandan Culture through music & dance. Day 2
You'll have an early morning breakfast, after which checkout and transfer to Kibale National Park. The transfer is approx. 5 hours of beautiful scenery. Arrival will be in time for lunch at Kibale Forest Camp, after which transfer for the briefing at Kanyanchu Visitor Centre by 2 pm, before heading into the forest with expert trackers. Kibale is home to an estimated 1,500 wild chimpanzees, many of which have been habituated for tourism and research. Chimpanzee tracking here is among the best in Africa, offering an intimate and often exhilarating experience with our closest genetic cousins. Visitors frequently observe them feeding, grooming, hooting, and swinging through the trees in fluid, acrobatic motion After an exhilarating hour with a habituated group, you'll return to Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Mid-range tented camp located just outside Kibale NP (Chimps) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
You'll have a morning breakfast and check out from Kibale Forest Camp, transferring back to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Mid-range lodge located just outside Bwindi Impenetrable NP (Gorillas) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
Bwindi is home to approximately 459 mountain gorillas, nearly half the global population. These critically endangered primates live in stable family groups led by dominant Silverbacks and are highly social, intelligent, and gentle. Unlike other gorilla species, mountain gorillas do not survive in captivity, making in-situ conservation essential. Early morning transfer to the trailhead in the national park, where you will join your group for a briefing before setting off on the trek. As the gorillas move constantly searching for food, the trek duration will vary, and the anticipation and the beauty of the forest make it all worthwhile. After the gorillas have been located, you will spend an amazing hour in their company, returning to your lodge later in the afternoon and spending the rest of the day at leisure. Breakfast, lunch, and an overnight stay will be at Ride 4 a Woman. Budget guest house located just outside Buhoma (Bwindi Impenetrable NP) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

I have traveled to over 80Countries and used countless coordinators and Dianah and her team are absolutely the best. My wife and I recently traveled to Ethiopia, Uganda, and Rawanda for 3 weeks on a trip organized by Dianah. Everything was perfect. Our Driver/Guides, Richard and Robert are both excellent English speakers and very knowledgeable guides as well. Their vehicles are well maintained, clean and comfortable Land Cruisers. The lodges Dianah selected were first class…. With super friendly staff and excellent dining. Trekking to observe Silver Backs up close in the wild is an exhilarating experience I will never forget. I can’t wait to work with Dianah on a future African adventure!

My husband and I were married in a civil ceremony in 1993 and di not have time or money for a honeymoon. For many years we have dreamed of a safari to make memories that we could reflect on as we grow older. A chance meeting with Musa led to the safari adventure of our dreams! I spoke with Musa about what our ideal safari adventure would look like and what we wanted to experience. He and Diana put together an adventure that was everything we wanted and so much more. They suggested things that we hadn't even thought of. From the moment we boarded the Kenya Airlines flight to commerce to the beautiful continent of Africa until the last moment when we arrived back in New York, everything was perfect. I am a very "hands-on" planner and this was an adventure of which I had no concept of what to expect. The experienced team at Activenures knew just how to put together the most amazing experiences and anticipated all of our needs before we had even thought about them. Their collective knowledge was so helpful in planning and executing our dream anniversary trip. They did not miss any details. Our accommodations were amazing, comfortable and well planned. Our safety was considered a number one priority. So much so, that we never even considered it because we felt so safe and comfortable that we never had to. The people who were assigned to guide us through Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda were extremely professional and their knowledge was unmatched. Musatu was our guide for the majority of our safari and we found him to be so very knowledgeable and seasoned. He was simply delightful and went above and beyond to show us his beautiful country with its amazing animals and even more amazing people. The people of Africa are so gentle and kind. We felt very welcome at every place we visited. We are so grateful to Activentures, Musa, Diana and Musatu for helping us realize our dream of getting to experience Africa in a way that was so personal and memorable. We can't say enough about the amazing experience that these folks put together for us. The 16 days we spent in Africa were so memorable without any glitches, without any problems and without any mix-ups. This is the kind of service you can only get with people who have a lot of experience with what they do. We will carry our African adventure in our hearts for the rest of our lives!
