Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be warmly received at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your preferred location in Nairobi by your professional safari guide and depart for the Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a scenic stop at a panoramic viewpoint before proceeding through Narok town into the vast savannah plains. Arrive at your luxury tented camp or lodge in time for a gourmet lunch and leisure time to settle into your elegant surroundings. Later, head out for an extensive game drive across the rolling grasslands, home to lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and cheetahs. Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend the day immersed in the rich ecosystem of the Masai Mara with extended game drives across different regions of the reserve. Track the Big Five while observing dramatic predator-prey interactions in one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife areas. Visit the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles inhabit the waters and seasonal wildebeest crossings take place. A beautifully arranged picnic lunch will be served at a scenic location within the reserve, allowing uninterrupted exploration. Enjoy breakfast followed by check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, driving across the scenic Rift Valley floor. Arrive at your luxury lodge in time for lunch overlooking the lake’s shimmering waters. Later, proceed for a rewarding game drive within this renowned rhino sanctuary. Lake Nakuru is famous for both white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and tree-climbing lions. We had an unforgettable safari experience in Kenya, visiting Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Our driver, Cina, is truly the absolute number one! With his 21 years of experience, you can immediately see that he knows every single corner of these parks. He took us to incredible places and gave us the chance to see lions early in the morning – twice we were the very first car in the park to spot them, before anyone else arrived. The lodges were very nice – not top luxury, but still comfortable and charming. The agency handled things fairly well overall, although we were asked to make part of the payment in cash: an initial deposit with bank transfer/credit card, and then quite a big amount we had to withdraw in cash for the balance. Apart from this, everything went smoothly. This safari was a fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I especially want to thank Cina, our driver – without him, it wouldn’t have been the same. Truly the best!
