Cape Town to Kruger National Park
Guests can fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport from Cape Town. We will also meet you at Eastgate to take you to Tremisana Lodge in Kruger National Park, located in Balule Game Reserve. Settle into your chalet and relax until it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve. Enjoy a starlit dinner at Marula Tree Boma, deep in the bushveld. Day 2
Kruger National Park
Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks before setting off for Balule Game Reserve for a 4-hour guided bush walk along the Olifants River with an armed safari guide. Enjoy the sights and sounds of a real bushveld experience while keeping a keen eye on the thick bush for the Big Five and an abundance of antelope, predators and indigenous birds. Return to Tremisana Game Lodge for a late breakfast and refreshments. You can relax around the lodge until it’s time to depart for the late afternoon game drive. Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks, and then it’s time to depart for a full-day safari tour in the Kruger National Park. We enter via Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper-south and central regions. Have a lunch break at a popular Kruger Park rest camp (at your own cost). Hoedspruit Rehabilitation Center
Enjoy breakfast and then join your guide for a tour of the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre located on the outskirts of Hoedspruit. The centre cares for injured and orphaned wild animals and birds of prey. The 2-hour excursion includes a photo opportunity with one of the ambassador cheetahs. Return to your lodge at midday and relax before it’s time to depart for the 3-hour late afternoon game drive in Balule Game Reserve. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
