Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, followed by a scenic drive to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes along the way before arriving at your budget camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, where you’ll encounter vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and possibly the Big Cats that make the Mara famous. After breakfast, head out for a full-day game viewing experience in the Masai Mara. The reserve is home to the Big Five and offers exceptional wildlife density year-round. You’ll explore different sections of the park, including open savannahs and riverine areas, increasing your chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing with afternoon game drives. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation. Following an early breakfast, depart Masai Mara and drive north to Lake Nakuru National Park, a journey filled with scenic views and local settlements. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy lunch at your lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos (seasonal), large populations of white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, and diverse birdlife.
