Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, your transfer operator will be waiting in arrivals with your name on a sign and will transfer you to the Palm River Hotel. This stunning hotel is built on the banks of the Zambezi River offering river views and as this is all part of the Zambezi National Park you may see crocodiles and hippo in the river and have elephant and game visit you in the hotel grounds. There food here is delicious and with a complimentary scheduled shuttle you can easily explore the town and falls. There are many activities available and we recommend a sunset cruise, helicopter flight and an elephant encounter. There is also rafting, bungee jump or high wire activities for the thrill seekers. You do not need a guide to see the falls as the paths are clear and well signposted but we can arrange one if you prefer and book any activities. Luxury hotel located at Victoria Falls Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
Today after breakfast you will be collected and transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Hwange where you will be met and transferred on a game drive to the lodge. The lodge is on a private concession adjacent to Hwange National Park but there are no fences so game is free to move between them. Here you have activities included such as walks and game drives and night drives on the concession, or game drives into the park. There is also a waterhole in front of camp with a fantastic photographic hide as well as a viewing platform. We love the food here and excellent guiding and staff. Hwange is Zimbabwe's largest game park. Its sheer size means that its scenery, vegetation and game vary hugely, ranging from the semi desert scrub on the edge of the Kalahari in the south, to forests, granite hills and valleys of mopane woodlands in the north. The national park is home to over 100 mammal species, including lion, leopard and is known for its large population of elephant. Mid-range lodge located just outside Hwange NP All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 5
After breakfast you will be collected by your transfer operator and driven 3 hours to Amalinda Lodge. Idyllically located in the spectacular Matobo National Park, is an African-inspired refuge called Amalinda Lodge. It is here that world-class facilities combine with spiritual energy, allure and unique beauty - something for which the Matobo Hills is celebrated. This unique camp is nestled amongst the granite domes and castle kopjes of the Matobo Hills, which are among the most majestic rock sceneries in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Amalinda consists of 9 individually thatched rooms including 3 honeymoon suites, 3 family rooms, 2 double rooms & 1 single room, which are all set into the huge boulders. Each room is steeped in African historical artefacts and tucked away into an ancient bushman’s shelter. The lodge’s charm will leave a magical impression on every visitor. Luxury lodge located just outside Matobo NP All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)

5.0/5From the outset we had an outstanding service from Claire. She tailored a trip to meet our needs, and made sure it was relatively close to our budget. We had a seamless transfer to the Okavango Delta, starting with a thorough briefing by our driver, and plenty of drinks for the journey. Our drive from Maun to Amber River Lodge in the delta was an adventure in itself, stopping to see the flora and fauna. The lodge absolutely blew us away, we had an amazing time. We had a very knowledgeable guide, Rati, we saw so many wild animals, birds, and the landscape is like paradise. We definitely had luxury accommodation, delicious food, wonderful activities. It was heart wrenching to leave. We had another seamless transfer to the Chobe River, we stayed at Jackalberry. Another stunning lodge. Great pool areas in both to unwind after safari. So close to the national park. We saw elephants, hippos, crocodiles in the water. Also a wide range of land animals and birds. There were beautiful sunsets and sunrises at both sites. We always arrange our own trips but just this once it was nice to have it arranged from start to finish. Claire went the extra mile to make this a memory for a lifetime.

Bec and his team, listened to all of our interests and requirements and put together the best African safari we have ever completed. The entire trip was flawless from start to finish. Bec tailored the trip to exactly what we wanted, many things were managed and planned that we were unaware of how complex they would be until we under took the trip. The process of arranging land transfers across different country borders, was seamless and something that would have been difficult to arrange. As it happened the transportation was safe and perfectly managed with the local knowledge of the team. Bec also checked in on us during our trip. The best, and only decision, we needed to make for the best safari we have ever had, was to select Off2Africa to organise the entire trip.

We had a wonderful 3 countries trip to Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. It leaves us with marvelous memories. We were stunned by the good organization of our tour operator, Robyn. The communication was excellent. Transfers were smooth, efficient and drivers always on times at the several meeting points. Lodges were very good and we saw plenty of game despite travelling in low season. We highly recommend Off2Africa and would definitely travel with them again. Of course, these trips are never cheap but it was good value for money considering the upper level lodges and the many transfers, including a return flight to Hwange National Parks as well as the many long game drives with professional guides.

We chose Off2Africa for our Botswanan adventure after careful consideration and was impressed with the care and attention Sian Edwards and Emma paid to not only the arrangements but keeping us informed of any changes due to the weather conditions. We felt looked after from the moment we arrived at Maun airport until the time we left. We visited 3 lodges - preferring to stay 3 nights at both Camp Moremi and Savuti - in the hope of seeing 'big cats' and we were not disappointed. We watched a pride of lions enjoying their kill; lion cubs playing with each other; cheetahs chasing a possible kill and a leopard quietly walking along the track ahead of us. It was amazing how close we came to the lions and a family of hyenas as they walked quietly around the safari truck! The lodges were very similar in terms of luxury, comfort and service but also very different in that Camp Okavango was primarily boat and walking safaris which gave us a different perspective from the motorised safaris- we stood only 100 metres from 2 male lions as they sat on a raised area looking for prey. All the staff we met on the trip were friendly, helpful and we especially loved the warm welcomes we received at each camp. Our guides were first rate. We wouldn't hesitate to travel to Botswana again and would certainly contact Off2Africa for any future safari trips.
