Day 1
You will be picked up from the O.R. Tambo International Airport. You will be shuttled to your 3-star hotel in Johannesburg where you will be checked in for a good night’s rest before your exciting safari takes off. Day 2
On an early shuttle, you will departer to Kruger National Park. Refresh before a sunset drive in an open safari vehicle in the Blue Canyon Reserve located near Hoedspruit. Your accommodation is booked at the Sekekama Tented Camp or Dumela Camp (depending on availability) which offers a stunning glamping experience at an affordable rate. Your package includes dinner, a complimentary glass of wine, and breakfast. All conservation fees, game drives as per the itinerary, and transfers are also included. Day 3
Depart by 05h30 for a full-day safari into the Kruger National Park. Enjoy an authentic bush breakfast, search for the Big 5, and return to the lodge at around 15h00. Your package includes breakfast, Kruger National Park conservation fees, dinner, and a complimentary glass of wine. Day 4
You will again rise early for a full-day Panorama Route tour where you can experience the breathtaking natural splendours of this iconic Lowveld. See the many waterfalls along the escarpment to the endless views from God's Window. Included in your package are breakfast, dinner, and a complimentary glass of wine. Day 5
After breakfast, it is time for goodbyes and your return trip to Johannesburg. Passing through various towns and landscapes, the journey will give you time to reflect on the first part of your journey and be excited about what lies ahead. You should arrive at your accommodation between 17h00 and 18h00. Optional Extras (one of the following): - 1 hour bushwalk before breakfast (subject to availability) -R350 per person sharing - 1 hour ATV quad bike safari - R1 250 per person - 1 hour sunrise drive in Blue Canyon, Greater Kruger - R1 250 per person sharing (minimum 1 pax.). Day 6
Today you will go on a full-day Johannesburg and Soweto tour. You will be picked up from your hotel. Your tour will start at the FNB Soccer Stadium on the outskirts of Soweto. You will visit landmarks around Soweto and Johannesburg such as Constitution Hill, Nelson Mandela Bridge, Carlton Centre, Vilakazi Street, and the Orlando Towers. After the tour, you will be shuttled to the airport for your flight to Cape Town where you will be checked in at a 3-star hotel. Day 7
Depart on a full-day Cape Town city tour which includes a visit to Table Mountain (ticket included). Table Mountain is a prominent landmark in Cape Town, South Africa, and visiting it offers spectacular panoramic views of the city, the surrounding coastline, and the ocean. You will go up to the top of the mountain via an aerial cableway where you can see 360 degrees over Cape Town and the surrounding areas. You will also visit the Bo-Kaap in Cape Town, a vibrant and culturally rich experience. It is a historic neighborhood known for its colorful houses, Cape Malay heritage, and lively atmosphere. You will explore the unique flavors of Cape Malay cuisine by trying local dishes at one of the neighborhood's restaurants or cafés. Popular dishes include boboties, samoosas, and koeksisters. Day 8
Spend the full day exploring Cape Town region's top attractions. Cape Point is known for its stunning coastal landscapes, rugged cliffs, and the iconic Cape Point lighthouse. Head over to Boulders Beach, located near Simon's Town. This stretch of beach is famous for its colony of African penguins. Walk along the boardwalks and pathways that lead to the viewing platforms (admission is $10 per person). Visit the V&A Waterfront, a vibrant and iconic destination offering a mix of shopping, dining, entertainment, and cultural experiences. Explore the numerous shops and boutiques. Check out the historic Clock Tower and explore the Two Oceans Aquarium. Discover the Chavonnes Battery Museum, an archaeological site that showcases the history of Cape Town's early fortifications. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
