Guests are collected in Cape Town and driven to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa and where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Explore the beautiful coastal surroundings and visit the Cape Agulhas lighthouse, the second-oldest in South Africa and still operating. Your journey winds its way through the magical Garden Route to a small town called Albertinia, which lies at the foot of the serene Langeberg Mountains. Book into your accommodation, rest, and freshen up before departing for a late-afternoon Big 5 safari tour of the privately owned game reserve. You will overnight at Garden Route Game Lodge. A buffet dinner will be served under the stars at the outdoor boma or in the lodge restaurant. Luxury lodge located inside Garden Route GR (Garden Route) Dinner (Breakfast & lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 2
Wake up early for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in the private game reserve. This is the best time to see animals and birds in the bushveld. Return to the lodge mid-morning for a late breakfast. Depart for the return journey to Cape Town, passing the local reptile park and the bustling coastal town of Hermanus, which is famous for whale-watching. Visit Betty’s Bay to see the African penguins, stopping for lunch along the way. Depending on the traffic, arrive in Cape Town in the late afternoon. Do not book a scheduled flight out of Cape Town that departs before 21h00. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included

5.0/5Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe

Martin took us through the reserve to locate the animals. He answered our questions and taught us so many things about the big 5
Dayo · Australia
We had a very good time at the Dumela Tented Camp. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The guides on the game drives were really good. We had luck and could see many different animals.
Kerrin · Germany
Really enjoyable and informative tour which also included an eye opening tour of the poorer parts of Soweto. Our guide Thomas was excellent , very knowledgable about a number of key historical events . A top quality tour and highly recommended .
