Day 1
Johannesburg - Kruger National Park
We will depart from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at 7:00 am. It’s a 5- to 6-hour drive that takes you from the Highveld on a scenic route down the Lowveld escarpment to the main entrance to the southern section of the Kruger National Park. Stop for lunch en-route (at your own expense). Settle into your bungalow at Pretoriouskop or similar and freshen up. Depart for a game drive in an open safari vehicle with a Kruger Park ranger. Please note: Children 6 years and younger are not permitted on open safari vehicles. Dinner under the stars is served at our private camp within Pretoriouskop or similar. Open Vehicle Safari Drive
Have an early wake-up call because the best time to see the game is as the sun is rising. There’s time for tea or coffee and rusks (South African dunking biscuits) before departing for a full-day open vehicle safari drive. Your guide will stop along the route during the course of the day for you to purchase lunch and refreshments Dinner under the stars is served at our private camp within the rest camp. Kruger National Park - Johannesburg
Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks and then depart for a sunrise game drive. Enjoy a light breakfast back at the Rest Camp before packing up and departing for Johannesburg. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
