Day 2
Game Drive in Akagera National Park
You will wake up early in the morning to leave the hotel at 5:00 a.m. and drive 3 hours before you reach the main entrance of Akagera National Park. After getting briefing at reception, You will start to experience the game drive and explore this savanna land. You will get chance to meet different wildlife species in your trails like Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Leopards, and Rhinoceros. Except big five animals, you will also view some primates, Giraffes, zebras, Antelopes, warthogs, birds, aquatic animals etc. Then, you will go back to Kigali during evening hours. Friendly and knowledgeable
I took a private tour with David and his team around Burundi and Tanzania. I spent most of my time in Bujumbura where David took care of all the accommodation and transportation. Whatever I needed he was able to arrange. We took a tour around Burundi off the beaten paths, visiting Kigwena Forest, Nyanza, Agasumo ka Mwaro waterfall, Karera Waterfall, Gitega, and many local sights. Very immersive tour. In Tanzania we visited Gombe national, had a great chimpanzee hike and amazing boat ride in between.
