Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
This is a 4-day group tour that takes you around the famous parks and includes a balloon ride. Serengeti National Park is the largest and most famous, with over a million wildebeest migrating annually alongside over 250,000 zebras. The Ngorongoro Crater is a highlight, with its beautiful landscapes, surreal crater views, and easy sightings of wildlife on the crater floor. Tarangire National Park, compared to the Serengeti, is much smaller and is famous for the many elephants that roam the area.

Day 1
Distance: 30 km to 50 km Non-game-viewing time: 2 hours We will pick you up from your hotel, and after familiarising yourself with the guide, chef, and other clients on the tour, we will drive to Tarangire National Park (a 2-hour drive), famous for its diverse landscapes. The park is mainly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country. It provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. We will do a game drive through the park, depending on where they have reported sightings of animals. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards are harder to spot, but giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are plentiful throughout the park. Later, we will go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having lunch. Keep an eye out for small monkeys and baboons trying to scare you off your lunch, but they are harmless, and you have nothing to worry about. Just outside Tarangire NP Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 2
Distance: 145 km After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa — the Serengeti National Park — with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then, head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well-representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Inside Serengeti NP All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 3
Distance: 145 km Non–game–viewing time: 2 to 4 hours Seronera, Serengeti National Park: The balloon ride will be on the last day in Serengeti (early in the morning, around 5 am), and then you will continue with the game drive. After the balloon ride, you will have a hearty breakfast and champagne to celebrate it. We will go on an early game drive to see many animals until the afternoon, when we will head to camp for lunch and to pack up. While doing a game drive, we exit the Serengeti and head to Simba Campsite (a 2-hour drive), near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Inside Serengeti NP All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 4
Distance: 210 km Non–game–viewing time: 3 to 4 hours After breakfast, we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephant. Another big drawcard to this picturesque area is its dense population of predators, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow, alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of hippos, flamingos, and other waterbirds can usually be seen here. In the late afternoon, we transfer you to Arusha and drop you off at a preferred hotel. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)

5.0/5We did the Manyara Gane Drive and it was perfect from beginning to end. The guide was a great tracker leading us to a range of animals and gave us all the background information. Skdo parked in good spots to get pictures. 10 out of 10.

From day 1, Antonia was super helpful helping us plan this trip. She answered my million questions and explained everything very detailed to make sure my trip was just as I wanted and kept communication going the whole time. Since we arrived in Tanzania the service we received from Serengeti African tours was 5 stars. Our accommodation was super comfortable, we had great food every day and all the staff always super friendly. Our tour guide Gift was the best, he knew all about the animals and was always finding the spots to get us the best views. Super helpful at all times and always encouraging us to ask the right questions and making us remember the animals we saw. Overall everything was beyond expectations and we would do it again a million times. Asante sana.

As nature lovers, this safari has been a turning point in our lives. A unique and unforgettable experience where the animals come to see you, not the other way around—this is when you truly realize what real freedom is. It’s true that luck plays a role, but having such an experienced guide like Mathew allowed us to enjoy the trip to the fullest and have truly incredible encounters. My favorite moment was when a pregnant leopard calmly decided to visit us right next to the 4x4. Situations like that only happen when the driver knows how to handle the vehicle and always maintains respect for wildlife. He also explained every detail about the parks and was very open with us—we had a great time! A 100% recommended experience.

Perfectly organized tour. The office staff was always available. Our guide, Rashid, was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable, and always smiling. We saw every type of animal imaginable. An unforgettable experience.
