Day 1
Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park – The Flamingo Haven of Nakuru
Our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport, ready for your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will travel along the edge of the Great Rift Valley, pausing at a scenic viewpoint for breathtaking photography as the landscape drops from lush highlands to vast golden plains below. Extinct volcanic hills rise in the distance, with shimmering lakes adding to the dramatic panorama. Descending into the Rift Valley, you will continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Famous for its pink flamingos and diverse birdlife, the park offers a beautiful introduction to Kenya’s wilderness. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm as you explore the park’s rich wildlife and sweeping landscapes. Lake Nakuru National Reserve to Masai Mara National Reserve – From Pink Horizons to Savannah Majesty
After breakfast, you will check out and begin your scenic drive to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, enjoy a short game drive as you exit Lake Nakuru, passing herds of impalas and taking in the changing landscapes. Upon arrival in the Mara, you’ll be warmly welcomed, and after settling in, indulge in a delicious lunch surrounded by sweeping savannah views. In the afternoon, set off on an exciting game drive in one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife havens. The Mara offers such variety and abundance of wildlife that it almost feels unreal. Search for the Big Five and watch the fascinating interactions of animals across the vast plains.
